        Certified Sustainable Hotel

What do we mean by ‘sustainable’?

This hotel has been assessed by an independent organisation that’s on ABTA’s (The Travel Association) list of accommodation sustainability certification bodies. Here are just a few example practices this hotel has to follow to be certified as sustainable:

        • Reduce energy, water and waste
        • Source products locally
        • Support local communities
        • Use reusable, returnable and recycled products
We try to review our hotels every three months to make sure this information is up to date. If a hotel has the Certified Sustainable Hotel label, this means that at the time of booking, the hotel has met the GSTC recognised standard.

        Discover Venice

Venice has a dream-like quality that makes it the most magical of all Italy’s cities. And locals say the best way to experience it is to get lost. Forget the map and head down side streets to find a quaint trattoria where you can dine on cicchetti with the Venetians. Of course, St. Mark’s Square with its terracotta clock tower, Basilica and Doge’s Palace is a bucket-list must. While you’re there, treat yourself to bow-tied waiter service and a creamy cappuccino at Caffè Florian. Arty types can swing by the Peggy Guggenheim Museum and foodies can get their fill at the Rialto Market, but no city break to Venice is complete without a fizzy peach Bellini at iconic Harry’s Bar.

Please note: if you book a transfer for Venice City this will be by water taxi. The water taxi will take you directly to your hotel if it has a private pier depending on tides. For those hotels without a private pier or during times of low tides, the water taxi will take you to the nearest available dock and you will have a short walk to your hotel. The transfer will take approximately 35-45 minutes per way. Upon arrival a representative will be waiting for you and will take you to the airport dock to get the water taxi. For the return transfer, please ask at the hotel reception for the pick-up time at least 24-hours prior to your departure flight. If taking a private transfer, there is a distance of 950m from the boat dock to the check in area, much of which is assisted by a moving walkway.
