Teatro la Fenice is one of the most famous opera houses in Italy and is a beautiful £90million replica of the original which was burnt down in 1996. The gilded La Fenice can be visited everyday with an audio guide or guided tour (booked in advance). Opera season runs from January to July and September to October.
