The hotel is a no frills, basic base for exploring Venice. Having said that, the staff are are friendly and the rooms themselves are very clean. Breakfast was continental and had good choice including fresh croissants, yoghurts and meats. Everything was within easy walking distance from the hotel and it was super easy to get to from the airport. Great choice of restaurants located nearby. As mentioned, rooms are a little basic and beds maybe a little firmer than usual, but still a comfortable space. Don’t believe there’s a lift (or if there is we didn’t see it), so worth being mindful of but caused no issues for us. Overall I’d stay again!
shabby decor in room; old bed cover with holes; unvarying breakfast for the 7 days of our stay. No area to relax apart from room. But conveniently situated in Cannaregio district, which was its saving grace.
15 minutes walk from St. Marks Square, great bars, restaurants and shops around the hotel, good breakfast facilities. The staff were efficient and helpful. My room looked over the canal, very quiet at night. Great hotel.
Location was great,near go vaporetto stop,but hotel was basic to say the least.the room we had was described as standard double but the bathroom was minute,requiring a side-ways shuffle to reach the shower!
Having read previous reviews of this hotel, I was a little apprehensive. However it was fine. We paid to upgrade our room and although it was small it was very clean and the bathroom had a great shower with plenty of hot water. The staff were very helpful and we found the breakfast plentiful and good including the coffee. The hotel is in a very central location within a 15 minute walk of Piazzale Roma and the rail station. It is a 5 min walk to the C'a doro vaporetto stop. I thought it was very reasonable for such a location.

Please note: if you book a transfer for Venice City this will be by water taxi. The water taxi will take you directly to your hotel if it has a private pier depending on tides. For those hotels without a private pier or during times of low tides, the water taxi will take you to the nearest available dock and you will have a short walk to your hotel. The transfer will take approximately 35-45 minutes per way. Upon arrival a representative will be waiting for you and will take you to the airport dock to get the water taxi. For the return transfer, please ask at the hotel reception for the pick-up time at least 24-hours prior to your departure flight. If taking a private transfer, there is a distance of 950m from the boat dock to the check in area, much of which is assisted by a moving walkway.

The basic flight fare (including all taxes and non-optional charges), one piece of check-in baggage, accommodation and coach transfers if stated form the ‘FREE’ element of the price. All other ancillary charges on the flight or during the holiday, such as extra legroom and in-flight meals, room upgrades, and optional meal arrangements, and for villas, pool heating, shall be chargeable. Please note, transfers are not included within a Jet2CityBreaks booking.
One Free Child Place is available when there are at least 2 passengers paying the full price. There can only be one Free Child Place per room, or per villa, on the booking. With the exception of villa products, multiple Free Child Places can be booked as long as there are at least 2 passengers paying the full price per child place, each Free Child Place is assigned into a different room and there is availability of Free Child Places. Where a party consists of one adult and two children, one child will be charged the full price applicable to their age and the other child will receive the Free Child Place.
The child age where a Free Child Place would be applicable is displayed on the accommodation description page of the brochure and on our website. The child age on the date of return must not exceed the specified age to be applicable to a Free Child Place.
The full deposit must be paid for the Free Child Place and the deposit will be deducted from the final holiday invoice. This will be displayed at time of booking. If you cancel your holiday there will be a £60 charge payable in respect of the child, in addition to any charges set out in clause 5 of our terms and conditions.
