Brilliant hotel. Very central, friendly staff, nice rooms and great breakfast selection. Would definitely recommend and would go back in a heartbeat. Very easy to get from airport to hotel via water bus.
most charming hotel. Very pleasant and helpful staff. I would stay there again. Only a short walk from San Stae waterbus stop. Big sopping areas near at Rialto Mercato and over the canal at Ca' d'oro. Also very near Ca Pesaro art gallery.
Thoroughly enjoyed my stay here. As a single traveller it was nice to have a place where I felt completely safe. The staff were friendly and helpful and happy to offer suggestions for places to eat. The hotel was clean and quiet. Location was perfect. I did get a little lost finding it on the first day but that was my own fault. Close to the water taxi for longer trips but only a 5 minute walk from Rialto Bridge. The area was lovely and I felt safe walking around even at night.
Would not recommend this hotel, stayed in room 325 which had a problem with the bathroom. Overpowering stench from drains happened overnight, made us feel sick, reported to hotel but no better. Friends in room 326 also affected. Not a 4 star hotel only really 3 star.
Stayed for 3 nights for our wedding anniversary, lovely, very old building, rooms small, as most seem to be in Venice, but clean and quiet and fairly central for all the sights. Unfortunately for us, the nearest vaporetto stop (San Stae) was not in use, so we did get a bit lost finding it as it is down some very narrow streets. However, once you get your bearings you can appreciate what a good location it has - the terrace overlooking the Grand Canal is just lovely for breakfast or an evening drink.

Please note: if you book a transfer for Venice City this will be by water taxi. The water taxi will take you directly to your hotel if it has a private pier depending on tides. For those hotels without a private pier or during times of low tides, the water taxi will take you to the nearest available dock and you will have a short walk to your hotel. The transfer will take approximately 35-45 minutes per way. Upon arrival a representative will be waiting for you and will take you to the airport dock to get the water taxi. For the return transfer, please ask at the hotel reception for the pick-up time at least 24-hours prior to your departure flight. If taking a private transfer, there is a distance of 950m from the boat dock to the check in area, much of which is assisted by a moving walkway.

The basic flight fare (including all taxes and non-optional charges), one piece of check-in baggage, accommodation and coach transfers if stated form the ‘FREE’ element of the price. All other ancillary charges on the flight or during the holiday, such as extra legroom and in-flight meals, room upgrades, and optional meal arrangements, and for villas, pool heating, shall be chargeable. One Free Child Place is available when there are at least 2 passengers paying the full price. There can only be one Free Child Place per room, or per villa, on the booking. With the exception of villa products, multiple Free Child Places can be booked as long as there are at least 2 passengers paying the full price per child place, each Free Child Place is assigned into a different room and there is availability of Free Child Places. Where a party consists of one adult and two children, one child will be charged the full price applicable to their age and the other child will receive the Free Child Place.
The child age where a Free Child Place would be applicable is displayed on the accommodation description page of the brochure and on our website. The child age on the date of return must not exceed the specified age to be applicable to a Free Child Place.
The full deposit must be paid for the Free Child Place and the deposit will be deducted from the final holiday invoice. This will be displayed at time of booking. If you cancel your holiday there will be a £60 charge payable in respect of the child, in addition to any charges set out in clause 5 of our terms and conditions.
