Antony Palace Hotel

Great hotel, 20 minutes train journey to Venice, the hotel is very well equipped with information. They have a timetable of all the trains running to and back from Venice. Victor the general manager was brilliant. Clean rooms and lovely breakfast, would definitely recommend this hotel its only a 10 minute walk to the train station. The hotel has a shuttle bus that runs from and to Marco Polo airport, you can book the shuttle bus via the hotel, we booked this on our return home but I never booked it whilst arriving in Marco Polo, which I really should have as it isn’t only a 10 minute drive which cost us €30 on a taxi. The shuttle bus was €5 Euro’s each.

We stayed at the Antony Palace for 4 nights celebrating my Partners birthday. Very modern beautiful hotel, Rooms clean and spacious with lots of plug sockets, iron and ironing board, hairdryer. The hotel provides a Handy smartphone for you to use for free this was really helpful in Venice to use goggle maps.There is an Aldi across the road so can stock up on drinks for the room and then a shopping centre with a food court about 10mins away.The hotel provides a shuttle service into Venice for €7pp each way so €28 each day. The train station is a 10min walk from the hotel costs €2.65 and goes straight to Venice takes about 20 mins we did this everyday.I would definitely recommend this hotel and would stay again.

Lovely Hotel outside Venice close to train station which takes approx 20 mins into Venice Centre. Trains are only every hour from area which was not a problem as hotel displays timetable so you can plan. Lovely pizza restaurant across road which was very reasonable. Would return here even though it was outside Venice as hotel was very clean and staff very helpful. Breakfast had big selection only downside was that hot food was just warm if you went down for breakfast about 8:30.

First class hotel close to Marcon railway station which is only about 10 - 15 minutes from the Venice station. Hotel is excellent with very friendly staff and for anyone looking for a trip to Venice and prefer to stay outside the main island this is definitely worth considering.

Great staff, great hotel, great Venice experience. Would recommend this hotel for anyone travelling to Venice. The hotel is around a 20 minute drive into the city, the minibus laid on by the hotel was always on time and excellent value. Only 7 euros each way.

No hassle very helpful staff highly recomended hotel. Comfortable rooms very clean and they offer an excellent shuttle service payable. Would have liked the hotel to be a bit nearer to venice itself .

hotel runs bus service into Venice which is great, train station 5 minutes walk. fantastic hotel staff very friendly. Breakfast is excellent . food very good too. Bar prices not expensive. Some shops close by overall I would recommend this hotel value for money

This was a nice hotel, lovely decor, helpful friendly staff but the location really is not great, there is nowhere near the hotel to eat or drink apart from the hotel or a under average diner accross the road called tiramasu, there was a nice bar/diner nearer to the train station but the menu did not look to appealing and none written in english. There is a retail park type shopping area opposite the hotel but the shops were always closed at times we were there. There is not even an area to sit outside in the hotel grounds. The train station is only about a 10 minute walk from the hotel but leave yourself enough time to buy your ticket, get to the other side of the platform and validate your ticket as each time we arrived there was normally a queue for the ticket machine. The train ride to venice city is only around 20mins but it can become tiresome if like us you like to go back to the hotel to shower and change before dinner as you will need to get the train back to venice city to find some place nice to eat. All in all I just feel the commute backward and forward between the hotel and venice took up too much of your time! Another tip if you have booked this hotel is don't book the morning boat trip to the 3 islands as we had to leave the hotel around 7am to get to the meeting point in time for 9.15am

Lovely accommodation with friendly helpful staff. Close enough to walk to the local train station where you can get a direct train into Venice. Also went in April 2016 which was a better time to go as not too hot.

Nice 4* hotel on the outskirts of Venice with good transport links nearby. Friendly staff, big clean rooms with tasty breakfast in the morning with a good selection of food. It has a wellness centre, sauna and steam room too.

Excellent quality hotel. Quiet, clean, very comfortable. Superb breakfast. Train station a mere 8 minutes walk. Train timetable from reception for flexible approx hourly trains to and from Venice, 25-30mins journey time. E2.55 each way. Or hotel shuttle bus, quicker, though pre-bookable, E7.00 each way. Marco Polo Airport shuttle very efficient E5 each way (see hotels website for booking process = e-mail). Would use again when going back to Venice.

Travel by train into Venice, the station is 5 min walk away and costs €5 return. Tickets can be bought from hotel, were as their shuttle bus is €15 return. Also request a front facing room as the car park at the back is busy and noisy all the time.

The hotel was great breakfast was ok not the best the only thing I found what let the hotel down was there was no where to sit outside in the sun happy hour is good at the bar but you don't want to sit in at bar when it's nice needs a sitting area outside
