Hotel Alexander

Woman on reception really helpful and friendly. Men didn't really acknowledge us, nor was they clued up on the area when asking for directions. Cleaner made the beds and replaced towels daily but didn't not change the bed sheets. Good hotel. Would stay here again.

The hotel is ideally located for a city break in Krakow but unfortunately the hotel is poorly maintained. Both rooms our group were given had maintenance problems and one had not been properly cleaned, bathroom bin full, dirty cups and glasses.

Fantastic location just five minutes from the main square, decent continental breakfast. Thoroughly enjoyed our trip.you must do the trip to Auschwitz-Birkenau, harrowing but really essential. We also did the salt mine tour, it was good but a word of warning for both these trips you must really be good on your feet,it's a long day out.

The main part of the hotel was lovely, fire alarms and fire exists visible. However, we were put into the other building which was discraceful. No fire alarms, fire exit route sign was stuck to the floor. In our room there was no fire alarm or an exit route map which is usually on the back of the door. In the shower room there was an electric heater!, plugged in next to the shower and illegal lighting right above the shower! And to top it off we found a used condom in the shower room! Everyday we had to go and ask for toilet roll and milk. Would never go back!!

Excellent hotel, located on the outskirts of the main square, only a five minute walk away. Rooms very clean and comfortable. The staff were very polite and helpful on the desk and In the restaurant. Breakfast was continental style and of good quality and choice.

Friendly staff. Rooms clean and tidy. Cleaned everyday day. Breakfast buffett style with good selection of cereal and cold meets. Only scrambled eggs and sausage for hot meal. Great location for main square. Would stay again

Asked for high floor and was put on first floor next to staircase. No sleep for entire weekend due to noisy guests and disturbance in stairways. Have used this hotel twice now and don't think we will use again. Good for access to main square.

The hotel was lovely,staff were very helpful and nothing was too much trouble. It was spotlessly clean and rooms were cleaned every day. The room was spacious for myself and two teenage boys. Location was a 2-3 minute walk to the main square, close enough for everything but far enough away to be quiet. I will be returning to Kraków and will book this hotel again.
