Don’t get me wrong the hotel was OK and its location worked well for us, but it definitely doesn’t feel like a 4 star hotel even if, presumably technically it meets some set criteria. Welcome and staff. The reception is a small desk at the end of the bar. The greeting was “do you have a reservation ?”. We had booked 3 rooms I of which was a single and one was supposedly a superior double. We were passed 3 key cards, with no explanation of which was which room or where they were. Despite all having similar numbers 1 room ended up being up a totally different set of stairs, but there were no signs to indicate this. Facilities. These were basic in the room. In fact one was a joke. Yes there was a safe, but this was not fixed to anything, you could just pick it up and walk off with it. The towels were very thin and hard. They had obviously had a hard and long life. Room. This was tired, to say the least. All the taps shower frame etc had been painted black but this was peeling. Apparently room service at this hotel only applies to the bedroom. The bathroom was never touched, therefore we had the same towels, probably why they looked so well used. Beds. The mattresses were very soft and were definately well used. Having said that we managed to sleep ok. Landings. All the carpets were cheap and depressing and were worn in places. Hotel ambiance. None really. Breakfast. Actually this was good and we enjoyed the one we had there. Mind you this was after we had got the lady “serving” to put down her mobile phone, by this time we were not expecting a welcome. Krakow. Really enjoyed Krakow and would go back to the same area which had a local feel and had lots of bars etc. would not go back to this hotel if I was looking for a 4 star hotel.

The basic flight fare (including all taxes and non-optional charges), one piece of check-in baggage, accommodation and coach transfers if stated form the ‘FREE’ element of the price. All other ancillary charges on the flight or during the holiday, such as extra legroom and in-flight meals, room upgrades, and optional meal arrangements, and for villas, pool heating, shall be chargeable. Please note, transfers are not included within a Jet2CityBreaks booking.
One Free Child Place is available when there are at least 2 passengers paying the full price. There can only be one Free Child Place per room, or per villa, on the booking. With the exception of villa products, multiple Free Child Places can be booked as long as there are at least 2 passengers paying the full price per child place, each Free Child Place is assigned into a different room and there is availability of Free Child Places. Where a party consists of one adult and two children, one child will be charged the full price applicable to their age and the other child will receive the Free Child Place.
The child age where a Free Child Place would be applicable is displayed on the accommodation description page of the brochure and on our website. The child age on the date of return must not exceed the specified age to be applicable to a Free Child Place.
The full deposit must be paid for the Free Child Place and the deposit will be deducted from the final holiday invoice. This will be displayed at time of booking. If you cancel your holiday there will be a £60 charge payable in respect of the child, in addition to any charges set out in clause 5 of our terms and conditions.
