Hotel great location in the old town, hotel itself is perfect,could not of ask for better, only one small thing there is no bar but plenty around

Had a lovely holiday here in Krakow at the Maksymilian Hotel. The hotel was centrally situated so great for all amenities and could not fault it at all. Room was very spacious and very clean, and the breakfast was faultless,it catered for every nationality. would definitely recommend it . Staff were very friendly and helpful, great place to stay

Hotel ideal for access to Krakow Centre, Good Breakfast included which was varied and tasty, staff very friendly both at reception and Bar. We arrived early for check in, 12 noon but were told we could have access to our room straight away. The only small complaint would be the actual size of our room which was very small,bed built into one corner against wall (Room 202) we had booked for only 3 nights , if we were staying for longer period would have asked for change of room.Would definitely book this hotel again but would ask for different room.

My friends and I visit Krakow on Friday July 22nd 2016 for 3 nights... and fell in love with it! We would definitely recommend it to anyone the city is beautiful! unfortunately we did not get the chance to visit Auschwitz during our stay as it was fully booked to 'World Youth Day' visitors. Other than that we visited the Castle and other areas of the city which were all amazing. Great restaurants, bars, clubs, I think there is something for everyone here whether you are going for a party weekend or a romantic weekend to a quiet chilled weekend this is the place! As for the hotel, we couldn't have picked a better one! First impressions were good and the courtyard was cute and cosy, set away from the main street. We were greeted by Joanna on reception who was really friendly and very helpful made us feel welcome straight away. Rooms were spacious and clean with complimentary water on arrival and then every day of your stay maid service fresh water and fresh towels! Breakfast was great too, small but more than enough and something for everyone we managed to get a full tummy every morning to set us up for the day. I would recommend you take comfy shoes as there is lots of sites to see and walking to be done, although if you are not into walking much (me on occasion) taxis are super cheap and easy accessible. We would definitely recommend this hotel and will certainly be returning in the future.

The hotel was in an excellent location literally ten minutes easy walk from the main square. Loads of restaurants, shops and bars nearby. Trams stopped on the main road outside and were easy to use to get around many of the local sights & very cheap. Rooms in the hotel were a decent size and spotlessly clean. Bathrooms had a shower with brilliant water pressure and always plenty of hot water. I was in 107, a single which was right next to the lift however I couldn't hear it. The room was a little too warm at night and as the temperature was controlled centrally I had to open the windows. There was one night when furniture was being moved in a room above me until quite late & then refurbishment work began in that room so it was quite noisy from very early in the morning until early evening. The hotel restaurant and bar closed at 10pm whilst we were there & there was no room service for residents Breakfast was plentiful and varied. Lots of cereals, juice, cold meats, a choice of hot dishes, pastries, yoghurt, fruit, toast etc There are just 2 domestic toasters so you may have to wait a few minutes for your toast. Staff were slow filling tea & coffee & replenishing some of the dishes at busy times. Reception were happy to arrange taxis, sightseeing, give advice on things to see & how to get there etc Free Wi-Fi signal was generally good. Would definitely recommend this hotel and would return.
