The tour
UNESCO-listed Auschwitz, which stretches for more than 200 hectares, is a monument to the millions of people who lost their lives during World War II. This sobering tour offers you an insightful and educational experience. Although originally scheduled for demolition, the extensive complex was carefully preserved instead in tribute and offers you the chance to go and pay your respects. During the journey to Auschwitz, you’ll watch a documentary explaining the site’s history. Once you’ve arrived, you’ll then have a guided visit to each of the camps, to witness buildings that housed prisoners, block 11, the ruins of the gas chambers, and the primitive barracks.

Read more about KrakowWhen we arrived at the Hotel we were told that the two bedroomed apartment we had booked wasnt available until the next day and that we would have to have two one bedroom apartments. This was not ideal as the two bedroomed apartment was for a family with 3 children. There was nothing they could do so two of the children had to sleep in an apartment without their parents. We went out the following morning and had to leave suitcases until we got back from a trip that evening to move into a two bedroomed apartment. All of this was stressful and not ideal. The rest of the stay was fine. Cannot fault the apartments, well equipped, clean, beds comfortable. Without the issue with the rooms this hotel would have been a full Excellent rating.

The basic flight fare (including all taxes and non-optional charges), one piece of check-in baggage, accommodation and coach transfers if stated form the ‘FREE’ element of the price. All other ancillary charges on the flight or during the holiday, such as extra legroom and in-flight meals, room upgrades, and optional meal arrangements, and for villas, pool heating, shall be chargeable. One Free Child Place is available when there are at least 2 passengers paying the full price. There can only be one Free Child Place per room, or per villa, on the booking. With the exception of villa products, multiple Free Child Places can be booked as long as there are at least 2 passengers paying the full price per child place, each Free Child Place is assigned into a different room and there is availability of Free Child Places. Where a party consists of one adult and two children, one child will be charged the full price applicable to their age and the other child will receive the Free Child Place.
The child age where a Free Child Place would be applicable is displayed on the accommodation description page of the brochure and on our website. The child age on the date of return must not exceed the specified age to be applicable to a Free Child Place.
The full deposit must be paid for the Free Child Place and the deposit will be deducted from the final holiday invoice. This will be displayed at time of booking. If you cancel your holiday there will be a £60 charge payable in respect of the child, in addition to any charges set out in clause 5 of our terms and conditions.
