Epic Sana

Excellent service from very professional friendly staff who made us feel extremely welcome and cared for. Beautiful, very well equipped and extremely clean bedrooms. Wide variety of food at breakfast and evening buffets. Very comfortable sun loungers with sun umbrellas easily available and attentive pool attendants Very tranquil location.

This was our second visit to the Epic Sana Algarve and we did wonder whether it would live up to our memories. We should not have worried. Pretty much everything, especially the food, was excellent. Being a bit picky the boardwalks and pools could do with a bit of maintenance but I assume this will be sorted during the winter shutdown. This did not however spoil our enjoyment.

Place to come for a total rest. We thought lunch food expensive, but then realised one portfion was enough for 2 people. Service excellent. Walk to beach is OK, The stair case to get on the beach is a stiff climb for those who are with dodgy knees. No restaurants on the beach eas a big surprise! Overall a great 7 dayd holiday.

perfectly placed hotel with everything with in walking distance, set in a lovely peaceful courtyard and great views from the roof terrace, definitely planning to stay again, room wasn't that big but was perfect for my three night stay.

Great hotel next to a fantastic beach. A modern, stylish and clean hotel, with very comfortable bedrooms. The only disappointment was the quality of the evening buffets (not five star quality!). Would definitely return if the food improved materially.

This was our third visit to this beautiful hotel. We loved it the first time we visited, just 3 months after it opened in 2013, but it gets better each time. The location is stunning, and the hotel itself is an oasis of calm. Because the site is so extensive, it never feels crowded. The staff are all very professional, friendly and do their utmost to look after their guests. We would like to thank them all, but especially Gui and Daniel and Elton at the poolside. The room was always spotless, the maids do a fantastic job, and offer a very luxurious standard of accommodation. Thank you for a lovely holiday, we hope to return soon.

Truly 5 star hotel , service and food. Heated 33 metre pool was lovely. Fine dining restaurant was a great experience , we went twice . Foyer has to be the best anywhere . We're going back next year , for sure.

Lovely hotel and excellent service. You do need a hire car though as it is out of town with only a couple of restaurants and small (but good) supermarket nearby. You can use taxi's which are reasonable but better to use hire car.

A superb hotel in a wonderful location where nothing is too much trouble for the staff. Excellent range of high qulaity food, with anything cooked to order...and a cocktail menu to die for! Good range of local amenities if needed.

Would have been absolutely perfect except for the price of drinks in the hotel. Service, rooms and food were great with plenty of room around the pools and lovely comfortable sun loungers. We liked it so much we,re going back again this year

fantastic hotel clean and quiet. so far so good. the food although varied and plentiful needs to be hot. not luke warm at best. the location of the hotel is not in albuferia but only a taxi ride away. be careful they can mount up. staff are very respectful, nothing seems too much trouble. the downside is that you can only check in after 2pm no good if you have an early flight and there was no all inclusive option. surprising for a 5star. drinks can get expensive. would we go back? if you like to be pampered and the peace definatley

We've just had the best week staying in this hotel. It wasn't over crowded, I got the same spot all week without getting up at the crack of dawn. You can have as many towels as you like. The pool beds are very comfy and tasteful (not cheap plastic). My partner is a joiner and he said that the hotel is kitted out in lovely oak and no expense spared. The breakfast was superb (we only stayed B&B) you must be a moron or greedy to complain about the breakfast as it had everything you could ever want! Yoghurts, sparking wine, fruit juice, smoked salmon, meats, cheeses, pancakes, beans, eggs, bacon, cereal, eggs however you prefer them, cakes, various bread rolls, tea, coffee, hot chocolate etc etc We walked to Vilamora Maria 3 times via the beach which took about an hour - great to walk off the extra lbs! Last but not least the turn down service at night was a real treat - every night we returned to find a chocolate each and bottle of water - lovely touch :-) We can't wait to return. Thank you to all the staff at Epic Sana for making it the best holiday we've had.

This was an amazing hotel, excelled by the awesome customer service. We had a fabulous time and could not have recommended this hotel more highly. Staff take pleasure in their work, happy to be there and this is reflected in their service.

Excellent in every aspect. Suitable for couples and families with babies and young children. Not for teenagers though - this is a chill out relaxing place. Long flight of steps to beach so not suitable for the disabled. Apart from beach not a good venue for walking. Pool restaurant and bar expensive but shops and local restaurants within five minutes walk.
