Paladim Alagoamar Hotel

As previous reviews have stated, hotel spotless, staff helpful, food good. Great spot by the beach. Cannot fault. 615 bus stops on the main road by the hotel, one way Coral Bay the other Pathos for €1.5 one way. Some UNESCO sites just before and in Pathos, entry really cheap €2.5 or €4.5. Tomb of the kings a couple of bus stops before Pathos and a very large site in Pathos itself. Great holiday.

Lovely hotel with excellent service, food and bar prices. Ideally located close to the old town for a wide range of restaurants and bars and equidistant the other way to the lively strip. If thats your cup of tea

Overall this accommodation was very good. It was a bit basic, but we expected that from the description and the cost. It was in a good central location, about 20 minute walk from the strip, and 10-15 minute walk from the old town, so perfect for the best of both worlds. A bit of noise some nights, but nothing excessive. A couple of things to mention about the room itself: - no bedside tables (we used the dining room chairs instead) - Only a few coat hangers supplied, so if you want to hang clothes, take some of your own - It was a bit windy whilst we were there. We worked it out that if the patio door was left open whilst windy, the ceiling tiles rattled. This was cured by shutting the patio doors ! We had a poolside room, which meant that our patio had the morning sun. The patio was small with just 2 chairs, a table, and a clothes hanger - but plenty big enough for a sunny breakfast. Sufficient but basic cooking equipment, crockery and cutlery was provided which was all clean. Rooms were serviced every day. Mattress was a bit hard for us, but manageable. Overall we would definitely stay there again.

Lovely apartment....a little dated in places but doesn’t affect your stay. Isabel on reception is fab, lovely smile and very informative. Only ate in the restaurant 3 times but couldn’t fault it. WiFi in our apartment and we were on the end. Area is very central to old town and strip. The area is hilly so ideal if you don’t mind hills. Weather was a little iffy so not sure we would come again in October. Lovely stay....thank you.

This was the ideal location and hotel was excellent throughout.food ,Staff & entertainment. Pool was excellent Shops 2 minute walk, We caught a little train that went to new town & old town it cost 5 euros for a day rider also went to see Dolphins & caves on a yellow boat for 35 euros. will be going back in the near future.

Nice hotel, excellent location. Good restaurant. Apartment was big with large balcony, excellent air conditioning. Pool area good with plenty of sun beds. What let’s this hotel down was the cleanliness, it wasn’t great. Bathroom shabby, in need of updating

Been here twice before an found everything to be good..staff very friendly and helpful..rooms were cleaned to good standard.myself and my husband love to stay here.. We are going again in february an have already booked for sept aswell..It's central to old town and the strip taxi rank just outside.evening entertainment pool side bar..overall we really enjoy our stays here an will continue to go as often as we can..people who give this place a bad review need to take a step back an look at what u get for the price u pay

We had a great apartment overlooking the pool. It had a separate kitchen diner with microwave and fridge/freezer, cuos, plates, utensils etc. The main supermarket is just a couple of minutes walk and you can stock up for lunches from there. Most days we had lunch sat on the balcony. Evening entertainment wasn't great, but it's a small hotel and we weren't there for that. The beach and old town are not far to walk.I was unusual not to have a buffet breakfast and instead hoose from a set menu which was ok but a buffet would be better.It was nice to get a sunbed by the pool most days, but most of them either need replacing or recovered as they are very saggy from all those over-weight holiday makers :)All in all, we thought it was a good hotel with lovely and helpful staff and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay there.

Lovely clean apartment, very friendly staff . Location was brilliant , could not fault it will be back to stay again Top restaurant the tomahawk steak was certainly worth having but we had to share it as it was hugh

5 star treatment from the moment we walked in the door. Extremely clean , lovely friendly staff and plenty of sun loungers and space round the pool. Very spacious apartments and a huge balcony. Entertainment every night and the food in the restaurant down stairs was excellent.

This hotel was excellent great location for both old town and the strip staff very helpful and polite food was very good and priced very reasonable pool area two sides both pools good size plenty of dunhelm and Sun all day long

Hotel was amazing location was perfect in walking distance to supermarkets, beaches and old town!! The rooms were massive and plenty room for 3 of us!! There are 2 large pools and 2 children’s pools with plenty of sun beds!! Staff were all polite and helpful. We are in the restaurant one night and the food was delicious!! Will degree return here again

The rooms were a bit tired and dated, but had everything you needed for your stay. All clean and fresh when you arrive. Excellent staff at reception, where you can leave your cases till rooms are ready. and bar staff all friendly, restaurant staff, excellent too. Always a smile, friendly, chatty people, all very professional.
