Prado Villas

This was a great quiet relaxing holiday. The Villa was very spacious and well equipped. Being there early March a little out off season the complex was quiet , quite cold in the evenings though . Staff at the Villas are always busy keeping them clean and outside garden area is also well maintained. Swimming pool & jacuzzi not heated was too cold to use .The weather which we can’t control was nice to start with but broke in the middle of our 2 weeks but improved at the end .

Villas nicely laid out in nicely landscaped grounds around a large pool. A process of upgrade for the Villas is underway. We stayed in one which had not been upgraded, but it was still comfortable and clean. A quiet pleasant family atmosphere is maintained, and although the pool bar and cafe are open to anyone, it is not advertised. Friendly and helpful staff made our stay a pleasure.

Stayed here for a week from June 9th, stayed in one of the upgraded villas and was all you could ask for. We came as a large group of friends and the place certainly hit the mark. James and Vicky who ran the bar and cooked food were fantastic people who couldn't do enough for us, to the extent they organised a BBQ for my birthday!!. Would we go back and would we recommend the villas.... yes on both counts see you next summer.

Prado villas was lovely....The villas were big and spacious although they looked a bit tired. Pool area was lovely with loads of space right outside the door. Bar served lovely food, especially breakfast. Staffordable were very friendly and attentive.

Really enjoyed our stay. it was so quiet and relaxing. villas were very adequate although could do with a little facelift. Pool area looks great although we didn't avail of it. BAR serving food was excellent. Darren, Steve and Christine were so welcoming. They made the stay so pleasant.

The villas are set back about 40 minutes walk from the centre of Vilamoura, however, the remote location provides a lovely quiet setting for a relaxing break. On the downside, it is approximately 15 minutes walk to the nearest supermarket. The villas are spacious but are in desperate need of renovating. They are kept very clean though. The pool area is perfect for relaxing around and the snack bar offers great tasting food and drink at good value. The only issue we had with the staff was they use a chauffaur service when you request a taxi and this costs €10 down to Vilamoura marina. We got a taxi back from the taxi rank for €5. It is a 5-10 min walk to the Hilton Hotel where you can take the shuttle tour train around Vilamoura for €4 per person or down to the marina €2.50 per person.

Fantastic location. Steve the barman was excellent. Very friendly and helpful. Would definitely return. The only thing I would suggest is that because it is self catering a cold bottle of water is provided in the fridge upon arrival so you can at least have a drink before you have to go for provisions
