Hotel Ambassador Playa I

Went here 2022 for new year it was amazing the food the staff New Year's Eve everything above and beyond what we expected ! So booked for 2023 to food not as good staff worked off there feet both hotels open this year with a lot very old people there so New Year's Eve all packed into hotel bar where capacity is only 105 like sardines bar staff couldn't cope if ever there had been a fire no one would of got out I put down to pure greed on hotels part that ruined new year for a lot of people ! And the pour staff poor management and pure greed was it really necessary I would not go again !

This was my second trip to stay in the Ambassadoe Playa 2. Lovey renovated rooms along with great food options. We went full board as there was very little in cost between half board and full board. Staff really helpful and great customers service. Such a great location. The linked bars owned by the group are great - particularly Western Saloon. The spa is great value and for Euro45 you get upto two hours in their spa facilities owee by a one hour massage (you choose the type of massage). One od the best spas in Benidorm and the massage was top knotch. If you get the chance to stay in this hotel - don’t pass up the opportunity.

what a brilliant hotel very clean .staff great food great pool brill will be back .cant wait for next year to come back would recommend this hotel to all my family. pool staff were very helpful so all in all great .

We have stade at this hotel lots of times. The food on Christmas day was amazing. Good entertainment every night. The resort is nice and flat easy to get around. Weather was good 21c every day. 😁😁😁

Firstly no complaints with location, hotel areas, staff, rooms cleanliness, entertainment, however very disappointed with food, for such a large hotel it is the only hotel in Benidorm I have struggled to find something to eat (stayed in quite a few) as not much choice & everything in gravy or sauce, carvery only on a couple of evenings & as I am gluten free ate mostly salad or had to ask for something & was given a menu with 4 options for each course. The food would come out on a large plate half full of chips or potatoes & meat very bland & tasteless (rest of party not impressed with buffet food either) Labels with allergens above dishes would be good as most hotels do nowadays. Not hotels fault but people running to put towels on sun loungers as soon as pool area opened. Area too packed sunbeds too close together not comfortable. May be better out of season as I booked there due to friends recommendations who go regularly but not in the summer months.

This is a fantastic hotel with fantastic staff and the entertainment is very good with plenty to choose from in the restaurant at breakfast, lunch and dinner . A word of warning about the smart card operating system for the door and safe in your rooms keep away from your mobile phone as it interferes with the info on it and you keep needing to go to reception to get them re-programmed..once I was aware of this there was no more problems. Negatives were the wifi was non existant and at a hotel of this class was disappointing and for me it misses music during the day poolside but overall I enjoyed my stay from24th July -31st July and would go back again.

Staff first very good maids room cleaned everyday and we're always helpful. Restruant staff Brill nothing to much trouble always quick to take plates and dishes away.Bar staff good. Pool attendant great, few guests placed towels on sunbeds at 8:30 then went missing for most of day, attendant did regular checks and if he knew beds had not been used for 90 mins would remove towels, was not afraid to confront returning guests about there selfish behaviour. Food very god with good selection and always hot, hotel in prime position for bars and clubs, would highly recommend the Ambassador and will book again for next year

not a suitable holiday for women of our age who had all asked for assistance at airport . plane very awkward. Hotel food excellent and clean and friendly but the noise was awful at night as we where over the hotel pup on the first floor and could not sleep . but we should have been advised by travel company.

we stayed in the Playa 1 with a side pool view. However all we could see was the palm tree directly in front of our balcony. This hotel is situated in the heart of the Benidorm entertainment area, unfortunately there is no soundproofing through the double glazed doors and so you are kept awake until 5.00am due to noise. The food is of good quality but limited choice compared to other Benidorm hotels. Plus point is that cleanliness is excellent. Jet 2 as usual excellent at getting you checked in at the airport

These two hotels joint together offer so much more,different entertainment in both all the time so you can choose where you want to go. Pools are great, and the restaurant staff are excellent, food is wonderful. Every staff I had contact with were so nice and helpful. Great place to stay, I will definitely go back and I recommend these hotels.

lovely clean hotel food was very British pool was average size good entertainment all the sports on British channels only down side was bacon was not very well cooked and Yorkshire puddings were like biscuits but desserts were lovely

Had a great stay at the ambassador playa. Location is first class with easy access to the main strip and beach. Room was basic but did the job perfectly, particularly liked the individual air-con and the bed was very comfortable. Only negatives for me was the evening meal which although well cooked, lacked some choice. Also didn't like having to order my drinks for the evening meal at the bar. Very good stay though.
