Hotel Perla Marina

Not what I asked for from the Agent from Jet 2 . The room was very dark, dingy ..on looked by neiboughs. could put water or ice in the fridge . No coffee or tea facility. Not really true to what is advertised with Jet 2 when you look at the photos . I felt really mislead! !

Lovely hotel. Can’t fault it for price. Good restaurant (on opposite side of road but accessible via an underground route if necessary). Lovely roof terrace and pool in one block. Nice balcony and sea view from room. Friendly staff. Very helpful. Drinks and food reasonably priced. Only downside was that pool area not overly large so it was towels at dawn scenario. Hotel is near to plenty of bars and restaurants. Not to far a walk from the Balcon. Plenty of watering holes on the way. Taxis reasonably priced. Will be back.

Great hotel and very quiet area all of the staff were great. Breakfast is a good selection and to die for. Good swimming pools Rooms very comfy and quiet but a balcony would have been an advantage .Will go back.

Had sea view room, worth the extra. Private balcony. Quite quiet room, slept well with the sound of the sea l a piping on the beach. Good breakfast but lacked FRESH orange juice as in Sercotel Alicante. Staff friendly. Cleaners excell.ent. Convenient for town centre.

lovely hotel food was brilliant the staff were very polite and the pool and surrounding area cleaned everyday,Linen changed every day.Would certainly go back.the beach waqs just across the promanade which was lovely.

perfect location rooms ok but need updating, lovely views of the pool and sea friendly staff plenty of choice for breakfast, will definetly go back, loved it, just a 3 minute walk to a lovely beach and 10 minutes to the balcon with plenty of resturants

The only good thing was the staff were pleasant and the location to the beach. Rooms tiny, food poor and what about the tea plates to put it on, never seen that in any hotel Old fashioned and in need of a refurbishment Definitely not a 4 star more like 2 and half Wouldn't use again

Really enjoyed our stay great location and fantastic view from our room would be very happy to stay again. Staff were all very helpful and cleaning staff kept the hotel very clean coffee and tea facilities would be good thank you perla marina

I have recently enjoyed a week at this hotel, I stayed on my own in a twin/ double room and I paid for the upgrade to a room with sea view and balcony . Which was well worth it as I got sun all day . I was in the new block which has the dining room on the ground floor and a lovely roof terrace with pool . The tv has English channels and you also get free wifi . Safe hire was very reasonable 21 euros for a week with a refund of 12 euros . A kettle can be obtained free at reception and a pool towel hired for a 10 euro refundable deposit. The reception and cleaning staff very friendly , 1 barman wasn't very friendly but I only visited the bar a couple of times . I was on bed and breakfast but to be honest that was the only poor part of the holiday , very poor quality food , in the end I only went twice as you can get a very reasonable food at the many local cafes and restaurants . The hotel is in a safe location if you are a single traveller , but I did know the area as I have been there many times

As a base to explore the lovely town of Nerja, this hotel is ideal. It's clean and comfortable, right on the beach and just 10 minute walk into the centre. Probably not the friendliest hotel I have stayed in but that didn't particularly bother me. The breakfast was good, lots of choice but a bit like a cafeteria. Very noisy. Lunch was ok but we didn't eat dinner here, lots of other restaurants around. I would recommend this hotel as a base, considering my room was on the main road I didn't hear a thing.

A fantastic bedroom, with amazing view over looking the beach - watching the fishermen and boats passing. Private balcony. Beautiful decorations throughout the hotel - traditionally Spanish. Friendly, helpful staff on the Reception. Excellent food - good choice. Good entertainment - magician brilliant - similar to Dynamo from Bradford.

Hotel by the beach about a 10 minute walk to the centre of Nerja.lots of restaurants/cafe bars around the hotel.Breakfast was nice read a lot of bad reviews before we came but it was fine.We would use the hotel again.Woulld say it was a good 3 star hotel

An excellent hotel, right next to the ocean and an excellent location for amenities. Just 10 -15 mins walk to the Balcon area with lots of bars, cafes and shops on the way!! Our room was good, perhaps would have been improved with tea/ coffee making facilities. The breakfasts were excellent - lots of choice - both continental and English style. Evening meals were carvers style, always with at least one but mainly two vegetarian options. The starters were very good lots and lots of choice. The least exciting part of the meal was the dessert usually fruit, jelly or a small piece of cake and always ice cream. The staff were very pleasant and very helpful. Although we didn't I understand that the staff will arrange trips out for guests. They do have timetables for local buses available.
