Idas Hotel

So So clean, great staff good food all inclusive bar till midnight, lovely hot swimming pools.Good air con in bedrooms and throughout the hotel. Plenty of activities for all ages.Definitely wheelchair friendly.

All staff very friendly and professional. The room was very spacious and kept extremely clean. The hotel was very well maintained and wheelchair friendly.We all felt safe and comfortable with good entertainment for all ages. The children had plenty of daily activities,if they wished. The food,though good and very tasty probably lacked more variety, but there was enough choice to ensure you were never hungry.A bonus of hot soup and rolls every night after 11pm.AMAZING

Idas Hotel very clean,tastefully decorated, fantastic bedroom, very spacious. All staff very very helpful, and friendly. Standards of hygiene extremely high. Food good, but un-familiar.Not typically British lacking variety. Very professionally presented, I`m sure Turkish people would be delighted with the selection, but the Brits, I spoke to were not very happy with the lack of variety, although the quality was excellent.Again if your Turkish.

The hotel overall was quite good but managed to let itself down on a few a issues.Firstly it was advertised as WiFi throughout the hotel, to say it was spasmodic is giving it undue praise.The restaurant area was clean and well kept but the planning and layout of access to the bar and toilets meant walking through the food area each time. The crockery and cutlery was often in short supply with no coffee cups or tea glasses most days. The hot food often wasn't however there was a microwave but it was in such a dirty state (it was old dirt) I had to ask for it to be cleaned, which they duly did.The rooms were good and well maintained, the location was very central to the resort.I would have marked it higher if it was not for the frustration of the above unnecessary issues.

3rd time to this hotel, really good value for money. Everything on your doorstep and although it is very central not the least bit noisy. Staff are all really friendly without being overbearing. Would have no hesitation in returning, recognised other holiday makers from our previous visits, so I think many people make a return visit. Some negative comments from other guests, but considering price paid could not understand the negativity. Always space around the pool and no problems getting a sunbed. A variety of age groups staying so would suit families and couples. Have visited Icmeler many times, stayed Self-Catering, Bed and Breakfast and as I said 3rd time to Idas, recommend the AI and if you fancy a change not expensive to eat out in restaurants. Returned a few weeks back from the Hotel Idas in Icmeler. We had a great time, I feel the best reviews are short and snappy so here it goes; Rooms Excellent, cleaned most days, modern, shower is excellent. Only small issue is you need the key card in the room for the air con to work, and they wont give you more than 1 (we asked). But not a huge issue. Pool Not only is this essential if you're thinking of traveling in June/July, never experienced heat like it. But always clean. Sun beds, we managed everyday to get 2 apart from one day so not a huge fight for them on a morning. All inclusive When we booked this hotel we had full intentions of not really eating here on an evening, it's cheap enough out and about anyway! Food was just ok, nothing amazing of course but no as bad as some fussy sods further down. You also have full access to this until you're picked up to leave, nice touch, Pool bar Now this wont please everyone.. All you get (booze wise) is Vodka, Gin and other random ones when they felt like it; Amaretto and Peach snaps but that was few and far between and draught beer. Now be warned, this is weak. You also get Rose, White and Red wine which I never really tried but seen plenty people drinking so I'll assume it was alright. Soft drinks include your usual's, Pepsi/ Lemonade/ juice/ coffee & water out of a bottled dispenser (advice, take a water bottle with you!). Dart board Darts are rubbish, may as well take it down. Lobby All good, no complaints. Gym Went for a look, and it looked ok to be fair, no steam room or sauna as far as I could see. Although they do have a separate hotel over the road (mainly for the Russians) and I did overhear someone say it is over there if you want it. Location You are literally right in the middle, 5 minute walk from beach and 1 minute walk from restaurants in the main square. Hotel Barber You'll see him walking round the pool on occasions, I had a shave a few times out there and I loved it, highly recommend! Only 20 Lira if I remember rightly. Overall If you are thinking of heading out on a night and haven't been here before, you'll get hassled at every pub/ restaurant you walk past. I know this isn't everyone's cup of tea so just be aware. What an amazing place this is though, as much as you get hassled abit, the people are lovely. Can;t do enough for you. Oh and final point, Dalaman airport is daylight robbery price wise. Try eat/ drink before you get there if you can

Good clean rooms. Food repetitve and never hot enough. Barman at the pool was miserable and kept turning up the music to full volume, making it impossible to read, talk or sleep. Other staff very good, particularly Recep (pronounced Aychip) the waiter. He was so attentive and helpful, couldn't fault him. We would not stay there again.

Lovley hotel very friendly the chef was real nice doing us omelettes most days , the bar staff was real nice in Idas hotel and Idas club you can use both swimming pools Idas club is bigger and more quiet a really big pool with a slide in Idas club overall a really nice hotel wud go back in the future
