Vrissiana Beach Hotel

Aris the head waiter is a Gem and makes your holiday special, when he is not on shift it is surely noticed. Benn going to this hotel for many years food is good but has been slipping over the past few years getting repetitive. Room need to be updated as getting tired now, clean enough but that bath is getting deeper to climb into or I am getting older. Wet room would be so beneficial. Need some entertainment at night to keep things more alive not some old guy playing same old same old year after year I am sure he makes up the words now.

I can only praise this hotel. All the staff we really nice & very helpful. The food was good and the service was excellent. Will no doubt be returning. Location excellent too, right on the beach and the strip. If I was being really picky the pillows were not good and the shower was a bit weak, but plenty of hot water.

Stayed here for 10 nights in May the staff were very friendly and helpful good facilities. Had no problem with the service and food my wife and I were very happy with it would love to stay there again

On arrival, not at the hotel but at the top of the street where you get dumped and have to drag you cases down the street, the first impression was very nice, but very nice to get inside away from the ultra loud music banging away right next door to the hotel, check in was fine, we were not offered sandwiches and drinks due to a late arrival unlike some were. On arrival both lifts were working and were until the last day but staff were not deterred when pointed out to them you’d been waiting so long for the lift as only one working so sensed this is a regular habit. First nights sleep was very broken due to the rave scene you have to sleep in. Breakfast trip was well looked forward too, a warm welcome to two new guests and a local restaurant feeling was far from it we got the most miserable member of staff I have ever witnessed in a hotel and this goes without any exaggeration, it became a challenge throughout the week to see how long before you had walked towards here at her lectern before she would take her chin off her wrists and elbows off the lectern to utter in very poor English room number, breakfast food was ok good choice, lunch was a good choice, it’s salad or starve choice, evening meal, well not a fussy eater at all will try most things however we ate out four nights of seven. The day starts and omg what have we come too a member of staff the entertainer greets all at about 80db on the PA system but this is just a warm upas from around 10.00 until.1600 between her and next door it seemed a challenge of who could be the loudest, Water polo, Aqua aerobics darts quiz dance, Music, shouting pa speaker so loud it’s distorted the speaker, lying on your sun bed feeling the bass shake you, oh we loved every minute NOT. From all the staff manager in restaurant, pool barman and one you lady in restaurant were very welcoming the rest were unreal, so unwelcoming ignorant. We will watch the evening entertainment we thought, maybe not tonight as it’s was a music quiz ,,,,,,,, in Russian. It was in Russian due to the fact the hotel was full and catered for th3 Russians most staff would greet you in Russian not evening speaking Cypriot.i can’t keep typing I’d be here all night, not a good choice, stay away

the room is good size. The swimming pool is nice as good sun loungers. But don't agree with pool towels policy as must change every 3 days. The foods are basic not brilliant. Charge a small water bottle euro 1.50

Our first time to protarus the place is amazing and the hotel was perfect for what we needed All the staff were really nice and we were well looked after .The hotel is set in a perfect spot lovely views out to sea at one side and shops and bars at the other side

I stayed here in September the rooms were very dated and noisy had a broken bed and broken TV got moved to another one had a broken TV they did fix on straight away but it shouldn't happen in the first place this hotel was hanging on for dear life for his fourth star I just think the whole hotel needs revamping the food was ok at best I'm sorry but I won't stay you again and one of the receptionists was very rude red hair

really good time only problem we found was the service at the pool bar I thought because we were all inclusive the bar staff tended to ignore us for people paying and found them very unsociable other than that really good hotel

Excellent hotel location great. Staff friendly and helpful. Some rooms could have noise from a local bar. Food very good plenty of choice. Very clean hotel. Beach great. Swimming po good size plenty of sunbeds

should be 5 star, service, cleanliness, food, staff, and rooms all superb. Pool and beach amazing. Balcony had fab view and was clean also. Highly recommended by us, we were a couple but it is also great for families, everything you need is on your doorstep, shops restaurants, bars clubs, taxis.

Rooms are lovely, clean and decorated well. Pool area is lovely. Bit if you want a bed with a shade around the pool. You have to be up early. Staff are polite and professional. Grounds are very well kept. Food, as you would expect really; lots of 're hashed items to make another. Best was breakfasts where you could get an excellent freshly made omelette. I would definitely return here but on a BB basis. As we ate our main meals out 8 out of 10 nights.

Having been to Protaras on numerous occasions, we would walk past the Vrissiana and say we'll stay there next year and after a couple of years we did. first impressions were good until we got to reception to book in . We booked half board , so when we got to our room there was a fee for the safe €25 , the fridge was locked there was a fee of €25 , if you want internet password €25 .thought god what else, We found out if you are all inclusive this is all free. Rooms pretty reasonable, nothing fancy , clean and ok, but there were signs of wear and tear. Meals were not bad, some days better than others. pool and outside area pretty good and real nice views . staff were young foreign girls mostly but very polite . BEWARE !! We stayed in room 324 towards the back of the hotel facing the town . the noise was really bad, music playing from the pubs adjacent to the hotel going on until 2am in the morning, you'd swear the windows were wide open , but we're firmly shut. ( Did complain on booking out, and wrote down on reception. they didn't"t seem to concerned on the desk tho. ) Overall if it wasn't for the nightlife noise coming into the room I would give it a 7.5 out of 10 , but with the noise I'd give it a 7 . pleasent stay tho . Alot of Russians have taken over Cyprus , no bother at all, bit that's all you hear out there. Paul S.Wales

This hotel is in a fantastic position right on the beach and only a short distance from the main street where all the bars and restaurants are situated. We were half board and was delighted when we arrived to learn that we could switch our evening meal for lunch which we did most days then went to try the different restaurants/tavernas in the evening. The down side with being half board and not A.I. are the charges. We had to pay extra for AC (which I don't really object to as this is usual) but we also had to pay for use of the fridge! Again paid up because it was more than useful for water/milk etc. I did object and refuse to pay for the wifi - 2016 and charging for wifi?? and not a small charge they wanted €30 / week - that's more than I pay at home. Fortunately wifi is readily available and free at all bars and restaurants. All the staff at the hotel were friendly and helpful. The hotel was clean and the food was of a good standard and even though it was buffet the food was always hot.

We found the Hotel lovely and clean. The staff were very nice the food was so good the waitresses always helpful,. The head waiter very professional The thing that disappointed us was the lack of entertainment. To us there was none. they did a quiz and one lady told us there was bingo. They do weddings and there was a couple when we were there. The entertainment they put on for the weddings were great. they had really good discos (we were tempted to gate crash) We felt they payed more attention to the weddings and none to the hotel customers. We will not be going back to this hotel. .

Nice hotel, sea view rooms are lovely but the rooms at the other end of the hotel are VERY noisy due to the bar (apparently owned by the hotel) at the end of the street. Food ok but after two weeks we were struggling to find something we liked. Some staff are very friendly and helpful but some staff (i.e. the guy at the pool bar) not so friendly and welcoming. Location of hotel is excellent.

Hotel lovely and clean, well maintained. Staff friendly. Food nice, I have had better at 3 star hotel's. Shame you had to pay for WiFi. Hotel in middle of strip making it a good location. Fig tree bay beach busy but a must. Lots of changes since my last visit. Great walk on decking along the beach and beyond.

Excellent Hotel The hotel was clean. food was good, Pool area was excellent the hotel was situated in the centre of the town close to the beach and excellent facilities nearby.The hotel was very wellcoming.
