Albufeira, Olhos D'Agua (Albufeira) and Santa Eulalia:

Please note, between 1 April and 31 October, a tourist tax set by Albufeira Council is payable in Euros (€) and is charged per person, per night (pppn), up to a maximum of seven consecutive nights and is payable for all guests aged 13 and above. This is paid directly to your hotel.

Please note, a tourist tax is payable in Euros (€) and is charged per person, per night (pppn). This is up to a maximum of seven consecutive nights and for all guests aged 13 and above.

The charges will be:

November to March - €1 per person, per night (pppn)

This is paid directly to your hotel. If you are staying in a villa this tax has already been included in your accommodation cost.

Faro:

Please note, a tourist tax is payable in Euros (€) and is charged per person, per night (pppn). This is up to a maximum of seven nights and for all guests aged 16 and above.

The charges will be:

1 March - 31 October - €2 per person per night (pppn)

1 November - 28 February - €1 per person per night (pppn)

Vila Real de Santo António; Montegordo:

Please note, a tourist tax is payable in Euros (€) and is charged per person, per night (pppn). This is up to a maximum of seven consecutive nights.

Guests aged 10 or under are exempt. 11 - 13 year olds will pay 50%.

The charges will be:

€1 per person per night (pppn) in hotels

€0.50 per person per night (pppn) in campsites

The tax is payable locally for hotels in the resort of Montegordo and under the municipality of Vila Real Santo Antonio. It's payable locally at your hotel and is subject to change.

Olhao:

Please note, a city tourist tax is payable in Euros (€) for all guests aged 16 and above up to a maximum of five nights per stay.

The charges will be:

November 1st to March 31st - €1 per person, per night (pppn)

April 1st to October 31st- €2 per person, per night (pppn)

This tax is not included in the room rate and must be paid at your hotel at check-in or check-out.

Machico and Caniçal:

Please note, a  tourist tax of €2 per night, per person (pppn) for guests aged 13 and above is being introduced for the municipality of Machico, including the resorts of Machico and Canical. This charge is payable up to a maximum of seven consecutive nights per person, per stay and should be paid directly to your hotel.

Santa Cruz:

Please note, a tourist tax of €2 per person, per night is payable. This is applicable for all guests aged 13 years and over and up to a maximum of 7 consecutive nights. This payment is to be paid directly to the hotel on arrival.
