Meridien Beach

Could not fault the room or cleaning staff who kept things spotlessly clean. Rosa at the pool bar is lovely and really works hard to please despite never stopping working Reception staff can be unfriendly and a bit rude. Rooms can be a bit noisy if you get inconsiderate neighbours who decide to move all their furniture around and shout on their mobile phones for hours on end. Little atmosphere which is a shame. Very great location and despite having one of the worst rooms with no view overlooking a wall being able to walk down into the warm sea was fantastic. Not sure I would stay again just because of the lack of atmosphere. But if I wanted a quick week away with good accomodation and was happy to keep myself to myself this could not be faulted and the housekeeping was fantastic as well as having a proper bathroom and tub

Stayed here for one week in July, Better than was expecting. Very clean and tidy spacious enough for 3. Towels and beds changed 6 out of 7 days. Small kitchen area with kettle and hob. Stayed in room B12 which was great. Hotel is in super location, main road to front with plenty of restaurants / bars / shops

Great family hotel, clean, lovely staff, good location. Exactly what you need for a cheap week in the sun. Jet 2 were also impressive, vey helpful throughout. Argassi has a good selection of bars and restaurants, we loved Peppermint and Beer Academy and Molly Malones. Good range of ages and people in resort. NO complaints.

We stayed here on our honeymoon and were a little disappointed. The rooms were spacious enough for 2 but 3 would have been a squeeze. The room was cleaned everyday and sheets and towels every other day. Cant fault the cleaning staff. Now I can sleep anywhere but the beds were uncomfortable. Air con is a must in July and was 7 euros a night. the placement of the box on th e floor outside is not ideal because if you like to sit on the balcony/terrace at night and have the air con on it blasts masses of hot air at whoever is sat there (up a height would have been better). If you plan to stay here try to get a front sea view not a side sea view and not on the ground floor or you will just end up with a view of the pool bar or the side of the hotel. the ground floor terrace that we had was not very private (sunbeds directly outside). We didnt use the pool but both that and the pool area looked clean and tidy. If you like to sit on the sunbeds be prepared to be up at the crack of dawn as I was up to watch the sun rise and many of them were already taken. The free wifi is slow but usable until between 5 and 8pm when it was very slow indeed. It might seem like Im just wingeing about small irks but these are the things that irked me and maybe not you. Argassi I will see you again but not this hotel.

Hotel Meriden ... Wow Wow Wow ...great location, great service from hotel staff, all very friendly. The hotel Manager and her reception staff I cannot praise then enough. This is not a five star hotel, but 1st class service. Thank you.

Excellent !! We have just returned from a brilliant week. (July 4th) Can't recommend this hotel highly enough. Spotlessly clean, great location, great staff. The pool looks on to the beach, and the front put you straight on to the Main Street. Special mention to Rosa who runs the pool bar, lovely lady who can't do enough for you. Will be recommending to friends and family and will definitely be returning.

Apartments were cleaned every day. Clean sheets every other day. Rosa is the cafe was fantastic. She is a credit to the hotel. Only had to ask for 2 extra pillows. Thought the air conditioning was very expensive. 90 euro for 2 weeks but when u left the room the electricity went off leaving no air conditioning on and no fridge. Bought a bag of ice cubes the first day and came back to a massive puddle of water on the floor. The air conditioning should be charged per hour that you use it

We are a couple in our 50s and these apartments were perfect for us. Resort nightlife was a lot quieter than I expected but wee always found somewhere to go. Stony strip of beach beside apartment, but a bit of a sandy beach further along. Only complaint is that we were woken before light on Monday by the bin men. Staff were all lovely and room was cleaned 6 out of 7 days. Would definitely return.

Loved every minute here. We had a lovely room which was extremely clean and well presented and the rooms were serviced pretty much every day which wasn't necessary but was very much appreciated. Most days we received fresh towels and linen. The pool area was lovely it was ideal to have the option of shaded areas if you wanted to be out of the sun for a while and being right on the sea front you get a very welcoming sea breeze when the temperature rises. The pool bar was great the lady who runs the pool bar, Rosa, is just such a sweet lady and she makes excellent omelettes and toasties. We will definitely be back to Meridien Beach in the future. Argassi is also a lovely little resort, I would highly recommend it for couples and families alike.
