Kolbe Hotel Rome

Had a 3-night stay here in January 2025. The hotel is pleasant and comfortable and serves a very comprehensive breakfast menu. The friendly staff are very helpful and gave advice on where to eat locally. The room was small but comfortable and overlooked the garden. There was no provision for evening meals but they would find something if asked. It might be that in summer there is a dinner service. The position is good in a quiet back street near to the Colosseum, Circo Massimo, Monumento Vittorio Emmanuele II and the Jewish quarter. It is an easy walk over to Trastevere where there are plenty of restaurants and a lively atmosphere. We would definitely consider returning.

The Kolbe hotel is a modern and very clean hotel in a super location, situated to the rear of the Palatine area. A short walk brings you to the north end of the Circus maximus and carrying on to the Palatine entrance and Coliseum all within half a mile. In addition there is a farmers market 100 metres from the hotel on Sundays which is amazing with real Italian food and beers etc. Opposite the Circus maximus, around 400 metres from the hotel are 5 inexpensive restaurants which serve basic Italian dishes at amazing prices. We had a 3 course meal for two with a carafe of house red for 50 euros with the bonus of a lovely and entertaining young waitress. I would recommend the Kolbe hotel and Jet2 holidays for arranging our fabulous Rome break.

We stayed here for 3 nights as a family of 4 and the hotel was just what we needed. The room was great and the staff couldn’t be more helpful. Even little things like we commented that the TV wasn’t working properly (couldn’t get Netflix) and someone was up to fix it in no time. To the bar staff being very friendly and helpful, and the cleaning team. Can’t think of any complaints at all. Highly recommend the family rooms.

Loved the hotel, next door to the Forum and round the corner from all of Ancient Rome. Staff were great, thank JULIO and others whose names I didn't know. Garden was very relaxing. One issue, when a wedding was on, could not get a drink. Don't mind the wedding but no drink. could do better. But the holiday was great, thank you Hotel Kolbe

The hotel was very clean and in a great location right next to the Pallatine Hill and not far for Circus Maximus. The Colloseum is only a 20 minute walk away. Our stay was very pleasant and the staff very accommodating. Breakfast had a good selection and we also ate a couple of evening meals in the restaurant which were very good. We also used the bar and enjoyed sitting on the mezzanine terrace overlooking the Kolbe gardens drinking red wine...what could be better! If we visit Rome again we would come back to the Kolbe Hotel (award winning by the way!).

We arrived at the Kolbe and we immediately greeted by friendly,helpful staff. The breakfast was good buffet style so there is something for everyone we were only there for 3 nights so I’m not sure if it changes much, but I found it good. We had a meal in the hotel one evening and it was great the waiters were fabulous and looked after us so well. We were a party of 8
