Romanico Palace Hotel

The hotel was a little dated and really does need a refurbishment. the rooms really do need an update. Our bathroom also needed a new suite. Every time you took a shower the water would would run out onto the floor. Breakfast was very good.

Nice Hotel, great location, very friendly staff. Breakfast was good,(eggs, bacon, pastries, toast and cereals) Very clean, no meals available except for breakfast but restaurants, shops and cafes are only minutes away walking.

Hotel was ok. Needs a bit updating and a good dust. Breakfast was edible. Not what you would expect from a 4 star hotel. Staff were friendly though. Beds were comfortable but the pillow were rock hard.

I was a bit warey after reading some of the reviews but I have to say our stay was wonderful. The hotel was lovely and clean, the staff were welcoming and helpful and the breakfast was lovely. The hotel is perfectly located and you can walk wherever you want to go. When we go to Rome again we will stay here without hesitation.

This hotel was not the best 4 stat hotelI have used. No decent bar area, there was supposed one down stairs. It was never staffed. The breakfast was disappointing, the same every day and the bread was not very nice.

Hotel was in a great location. First room we were given had a foul smell, and bidet leaked . Spoke to reception and we were allocated another room which was satisfactory. Breakfast and restaurant staff were good. When leaving gentleman behind reception desk took exception to us collecting our own baggage from allocated area despite there being no signs that this was forbidden.His word not mine.All in all hotel was ok, but would say in need of big repaint job,as furniture was pretty well worn.

I really don’t know where to start, lovely welcome and Bell boy took our bags to our room where at first glance looked lovely and really nice decoration! Went to see what view we had to open the curtains to a small dingy courtyard which didn’t let an light into the room (room 245) felt like I was locked in a cell! So as you can imagine there was 0 light to wake up to in a morning!! Went for a bath before bed as I don’t often do this at home to find the plug was broken and kept letting the water out along with a faulty shower head! When I came to getting into bed (a double deluxe room) (double bed) it was two singles pushed together which every time you rolled over the beds would come apart and you would end up falling through the gap (I did complain about this but nothing got done) if I was to complain anymore it would have completely ruin my holiday even more than what it already had done!, breakfast in the morning was average and no where near 4**** standard!! Overly sugary drinks (glad I don’t have kids) toaster machine took forever and a day to toast my bread (I’m a very chilled person but this pushed me) but I guess if you had 0 sleep on a plank of wood anything would haha! Cosiants were lovely!! Bacon was very fatty and was drowned in oil and scrambled eggs were tasteless!!fruit and yogurt was very nice!!, down in the lobby serivice was rubbish and you had to go find someone if you wanted anything ( the same sandwiches sat there the whole duration of our trip) staff where helpful as in calling taxis for us but when it came to reccomendations not so good, we never asked again after the first time! If you are stay here (as a last resort) please don’t stay in room 245!!! Make sure you hide food ect as I came back to half of my Pringles eaten! One day we came back and someone had left the window wide open (was freezing) bring in mind wwe had no sun or daylight in our room!! We tried not to let the hotel ruin our journey!!

Excellent hotel. Very artistic, baroque decor.More than helpful staff. Very pleasant breakfasts in stunning rooftop restaurant with views over Rome rooftops, lovely to stand on balcony and admire the view. Very clean. Lovely lounge area. Great cocktails, but a little pricey.

Myself a friend and our mothers stayed here for 3 nights in August. The staff were friendly, rooms were clean and the food was good. It's a great location for walking distance to most of the tourist attractions.

Amazing Trip with family, Hotel was lovely and clean and all the staff were friendly and Helpful. The Hotel is located in a lovely area. We went on lovely walks and staff were helpful in providing maps and telling us places to visit.
