Magic Aqua Rock Gardens

Please believe the bad reviews given on this hotel as they are very much true!! Firstly we arrived as a family of 4 with a 2.5 year old and 3 month year old, on arrival I noticed there was no travel cot in the room even though it clearly stated we was travelling with a infant, I even emailed ahead asking for a travel cot to be provided, when I asked for one I was told it was a additional charge of €7 a night!! The lifts are an absolute joke! You could be waiting up to 20 minutes a time and they a tiny!! As we had 2x small children we had 2x prams which meant most of the time we would have to wait for separate lifts! The lay out of the hotel is ridiculous e.g our room was on the 4th floor, if you got the lift to the dining area and then wanting to go to reception you would have to get the lift back to a room floor walk along the corridor to another set of lifts to go down again, even though the reception was just ONE floor beneath the dining area, but we had no choice as we had small children with prams. The food was the worst all inclusive I have ever experienced! We eat out every night apart from 2 evenings and the only reason we eat in those 2 nights was so my 2.5 year old could see the kids disco, the only positive thing was breakfast was on till 11.00am so there was no mad rush trying to get breakfast in the morning. The cocktails were shocking, pre made mix, the ques to get a drink were ridiculous, they would have 1x bar staff on at a time even In busy peak times. The rooms were dark and tiny, very depressing! There is a huge bed which practically takes up the entire room, no space at all, there is no balcony which we was aware of and wasn't to fussed as we have a toddler. The Air con hardly worked, I had to get someone up 3 times to fix it in the 7 days we was there. The pool area is tiny and hardly gets any sun as there is high rise buildings right infront of it, the pool was absolutely freezing, we didn't get in it once! We only went to the pool on the first day and then spent everyday at the beach which isn't ideal when you have paid for all inclusive, there is hardly any sun lounger and they are all crammed together. The evening entertainment is indoors and is tiny, everyone is crammed in there and it is not big enough for the amount of people staying at the hotel, although my 2.5 year old did enjoy the kids disco. The hill to the hotel is steep but it is manageable, we did this with a pram each.

Nice hotel, food was fine with plenty of choice. There wasn't much of a bar area on a night to just Sir and have a drink. The pool area is far to small for the amount of people they cater for. We went to the beach everyday as there was more space and its a stones through away from the hotel. Jet2 were really good from start to finish no complaints there. The gym us tiny and you couldn't really use it die to it being busy.

The hotel itself was clean and the staff were pleasant. The majority of the VR equipment was out of action. It was almost impossible to get a sun lounger in the afternoons. There were long queues at reception a lot of the time. And the food was a bit hit and miss. Bear in mind if you have little ones that under 120cm not allowed on most of the slides. We were promised a room with a balcony , which I had paid for, but our room did not have a balcony. Staff did not rectify this issue. Despite the above, we still had a good time but would not stay here again.

The hotel staff were lovely and helpful but the food was awful not much choice for children and everything was cold microwaves placed around to heat which Is not good. Rooms small and no balcony’s!!! Strict about kids in pool with balls nothing for bigger kids to do. Do not go here if you have teenagers!

Not a pleasent experience from this hotel / holiday . Drug needles right outside in plain view . Hotel and jet 2 not bothered by this and passed blame onto whoever they could . Staff very arrogant and water park slides not suitable for younger chrilden which wasnt stated to me before booking . WOULDNT RECOMMEND TO ANYONE dont waste your money go to another hotel / holiday provider . My trust / faith in jet2 for supplying me this hotel has all gone and some ! But jet 2 just dont care because they got their money

On arrival very impressed. Staff are amazing, (except for a few of the main bar staff). Rooms ok but windows only, no balconies. It rained most of the time so we had to stay in but there is no entertainment for the children during the day only a small arcade. This hotel is good for families but not couples.

Great holiday enjoyed by us all. Food, and drinks were endless! Great atmosphere and staff.Hotel was very clean and tidy. Great location, although, look out for "cardiac hill". Not as bad as it sounds, but could be a struggle for those in wheelchairs or with buggies etc.Only negative, evening entertainment, not much happening. Not a problem though, so much on the doorstep to get involved in.

the hotel is lovely, its clean, food is very tasty with lots of choice, staff are very friendly & helpful & setting of hotel is nice the only draw back is that all the swimming pools are ice cold I love to swim but was just far to cold for me grandchildren had to keep getting out to warm up as they where turning blue.

Stayed here in Aug on a family holiday which included 6 adults 3 children aged 7 to 14. Rooms were good always clean. Food was good, entertainment was fine except DJ Duggy he was fabulous. The entertainment of people running for sunbeds in the morning was hilarious. Lifts were hit and miss they all went to different floors and sometimes they were not working. The electrics kept going off all the time for the first week and the amount of people who got stuck in the lifts were unbelievable. All staff were great if a little run of their feet except one bar man who worked in the bar near the main reception he was an arrogant. Not too happy about having to walk to the bottom of the hill on the morning of departures to catch the coach at 2am as it didn't come up the hill.

The hotel was nice very clean, lots to eat and drink you could not stay here and say there was nothing to eat you could'nt go hungry. Staff very friendly my only gripe was the pool was not that big for the amount of peaople that were staying here and no balconies was'nt told that when booking but i got over it, apart from that I could not fault it at all. Everyone complains about walking up the hill which is called Cardiac Hill not a problem at all I'm of a fuller figure lady and a smoker and walked up it no problem only stopping once so not bad at all. Weather was lovely happy days !!!

We stayed here early August, the hotel staff are brilliant the food is great , we loved our stay, 5 adults and 4 children the entertainment staff are brilliant with the children , the rooms are cleaned daily, Fantastic holiday
