Gavimar La Mirada Club Resort

The hotel is only 3*, but we couldn't have asked for more, everyone was lovely, the entertainment was fantastic, so attentive, and work really hard, the rooms were basic, but had everything we needed, small kitchenette, but had enough stuff if we wanted self catering, we used all inclusive, the food was delicious, lots of variety each day, it was a little repetitive, ie salad every day, chips every day, cold meats every day, but there were always lots of other items as well to choose from, they catered for most nationalities, the snack bar was always the same, hot dogs burgers chips salad and rolls. The different types of breads were fresh every day, often still hot when brought out, there was plenty of space to eat either inside or outside, we had to pay a 1€ deposit for a plastic plate and cup beside the pool, but if you took it back you'd either get a clean one or your euro back, my only fault would be that the children were not allowed to have large rubber rings or balls in the pool most of the time, the last hour the life guards turned a blind eye to the balls in the pool, the pool is blocked off between 6pm and 10am, as are the sunbeds, there is a balcony with more sunbeds on, the kids club is small, but the girls that do the entertainment make it exciting for the kids, the beach, a small exclusive cove, is just across the road, the shops are open till around 11pm ISH and are a 1or 2 minutes walk away, but not so close that they disturb you, plenty of places to eat if you want to go out, the harbour is about a 15 or 20 minutes walk, where you can see how the other half live 😁 all in all a fantastic holiday, and yes i would go again.

We stayed here as a family of four. 2 adults 2 kids 2and 15. We had booked a junior suite thinking this would give us adequate space but no. It was cramped and too small for us with luggage etc. Not as it looked in the pictures. On numerous occasions there was tiny bugs crawling over the sink area. The rooms are also not very sound proof a lot of noise from rooms beside and above us. We had stayed on all inclusive basis. We could not fault the food plenty of selection and good quality food. Drinks available all day. The pool area however not satisfactory at all. The children’s pool for our 2 year old was tiny and only allowed space for approx 6 - 8 sunbeds. Which meant we could only use the pool in evening at the quieter times. The main large pool had limited sunbeds too and again not as big as expected. The pictures on the website certainly do not give a good indication of the true size and layout. The pool area itself was treacherous very Very slippy. I had bought non slip shoes for my children and these were definitely needed. On our visit a child had actually fell and cut his head open. One of the evenings even the floor in the restaurant was so slippy that even the chairs at the table were moving each time u sat down. All inclusive also ends at 11pm which seems early as other holidays it is 12am. Entertainment was poor and uninteresting nothing really to keep our 2 year old entertained or our 15 year old. Bingo. Karaoke etc. The location is good close to bars and restaurants and shops. Spar shop however is mega expensive €2.35 for 1 litre of milk!!! We will not be returning to this resort. Majorca itself is beautiful but if we go back it will definitely be to a better standard of hotel.

Not an awful hotel, however... food didn't have much variety, and the pools were chaos. Young kids in adult pool instead of their own. I counted 26 inflatable lilos at one point mid day that had been abandoned. So basically if you're going for peace and quiet, don't go here. Other than that it wasn't bad.

The hotel is most definitely a 3 star ! Buffet restaurant had some choice ! It is central located and lots of bars and shops nearby ! Rooms are clean and have everything you need in them ! Entertainment team work hard through out the day and bar staff worked hard and nothing was a problem ! Would go again

We have just returned from our holiday 6th September after 10 days, we have had a great time, hotel was lovely nice and clean, towels changed daily. The animation team were great show to watch out for is The Lion King it was fantastic, would definitely go back again.

went all inclusive, the hotel was in a great location, plenty of bars & restaurants which came in handy as the food at the hotel was very poor, i.m no food snob, far from it, the daytime burgers and toaties were OK, pool area was nice but got very messy around the bar area in the afternoon.

Had a brilliant time here. Very family friendly hotel. Room was adequate for what we needed and food was brilliant, very good selection. The pool areas were fab and our daughter had the best time. The hotel is in a very quiet area and was not noisy after 11pm which suited us.

Very nice hotel. Staff very friendly in dining room and bar.Entertainment team worked very hard and made our holiday special.No one was pushy and they made you feel they had known us for years. Food was a bit repetative but was very nice. My only issue was the swimming pool. Full of massive inflatables. Very dangerous if child got stuck underneath . Plenty of rules about using pool but no one seemed to action the rules. I counted 15 Inflatables one afternoon some of them were for 2 and 3 people. Dangerous

Great hotel..had a junior suite spacious clean & very satisfied had a great view over the pools great big balcony ...food was amazing very tasty plenty of choice ..even my fussy 6 yr old ate 3 meals a day ..location great for family ..clean lovely shops restaurants bars ..beach across the road down a little hill ...overall a great location..

We spent a week here during the school holidays. The staff and the food were great but the pool area was far too small for the number of guests. The entertainment was aimed at young children. We ended up going to the beach every morning, heading back to the hotel for lunch then took a walk to the bars in the marina in the afternoon. The only time we spent at the hotel was to sleep and eat.
