Globales Mimosa

After reading some of the reviews we were not sure what to expect, but we were pleased that the hotel was a lot better than we expected. To address some of the main ones we read, some of the reviews say the lifts are small, they are but there is three of them so the wait is not too bad. Walls were not paper thin and even with some stag and hen do’s at the hotel it was not rowdy and was generally a mix of all different people. The bar there was a bit of a queue in the vending and during the day, but it went super quick, so you won’t wait more than a few minutes. Overall, the hotel was super clean, rooms were really nice after the refurbishment, pool area was nice and you could easily get a sun bed. Plus Palma Nova beach was a 5 minute walk away, which was a stunning Sandy beach and clear water! The hotel food was good, a little same same each day, but generally there was always something to choose from. Drinks, where decent Mahou beer of tap, spirits where only 30% ABV (may just need to drink a few more of them) and cocktails where okay. Staff were friendly and the events teams were good fun during the day, they did events that would get everyone involved. So it was not just for kids, which was good for the younger crowds. Palma nova strip is close as well, not going to be a big party scene but enough bars to drink at and plenty of places showing the football on big screens. Overall I would recommend the hotel, good location, good value for money when we went in the 2nd week of may and overall super clean.

On arrival we were blown away with the size of reception and we where checked in fast and friendly. The room was very clean and modern with a fridge. Pool area was lovely and there was never a problem getting a bed. Even after a morning at the beach we were still able to get beds. The food was always fresh and hot. The snack bar by the pool had excellent food all day. The only issue was the lifts. We had a 2 year old and push chair and the 3 lifts were in use ALL THE TIME. It was never a quick job to get a lift with space and they shut so quickly that we had a jammed pushchair and legs a couple of times. It was a very mixed bag of people. Families, couples (old&young) and groups of younger people. The rooms were clean and drink service was fast. It is a short walk to a convenience shop and the beach is a nice walk too. Our daughter enjoyed the mini disco but started late for younger children.

This was our 5th stay here . First since re furb. The rooms seem to be more soundproof than before Miss the wardrobe doors. Beds were fine as were the duvet and 2 pillows. Food in restaurant was fine Only disappointment was no Cava on the way into breakfast! Add orange juice to make a Mimosa Cocktail (Buck's fizz ) Any chance of during something with the baked apples that appeared lunch and dinner every day? Crumble or sponge would be nice. The bar staff-Jesus, Esther, Manuel and Francisco still there. Friendly and helpful. Pity we can no longer get Spanish Bailey's and Tia Maria Also very disappointed that the gate at swimming pool is no longer open for guests. Could a lock which uses Room pass not be installed to save everyone going out the front door and down all the steps. We're heading back again in July for our 6th visit.

Hotel was fine.left at airport for over an hr at coach as waiting on another flight Downside was we were told 15 mins.food was fine and a nice pool area.just a shame about transfers.hotel was a little back from the front but not a major issue

Hotel was ok, food a bit bland but could find something to fill you up. We have used jet2 previously and have never had an issue. Whilst staying at this hotel there was a jet2 training conference for a few days. They were the rudest people at the hotel. They pushed there way to the front of the bar every time and then proceeded to order drinks for the whole party of about 12 people. As the weather was bad all the guests were using the facility’s so we were all waiting patiently for the bar and the restaurant. They were very loud at night after having a few drinks. They even decided to announce quite openly that the food in the hotel was crap and they all needed to eat out. They had no regard for any other guest and obviously thought they were superior to everyone else. I would of thought as this was a jet2 hotel that they would not of acted like this. Very disappointed and put a very big downer on the holiday.

Perfect location, rooms cleaned daily, staff very helpful and friendly.One thing lets this hotel down, evening meal selection was repetitive and food was Luke warm. If you like fish you’re in for a treat but don’t expect too much in the way of vegetables. Breakfast was excellent and the food at the pool bar was fresher and hotter as it’s not prepared in bulk ahead of time. Having said that we didn’t eat out at all as there was plenty salad and fruit.Entertainment was mainly aimed at children although there weren’t any school age children there as it was term time.If anything spoiled our week it was definitely the queues at the bars, they were shocking! Might be a good idea to have more than one person serving.

We had a lovely 10 days at this resort. Downside are the lifts. Staff are all very pleasent and helpful. Evening entertainment was not to our liking. The hotel is lovely though and food is ok. Always something for everyone, and I’m fussy 😂.

Hotel was good value for money my husband and I spent a week here .. the hotel was very clean , fresh towels every day the staff we're always pleasant and helpful ..... the food was always hot and there were plenty of choices . We really enjoyed our stay .

Nice hotel.Too many steps to access pool.Uncomfortable outdoor seating around bar area. No snacks allowed outside.Dark smoking area.Entertainment not bad.Food average.Cava for breakfast available.It is a good 15 min walk to promenade although there is a back entranceBUT loads of steps!! It is quite a steep hill.Supermarket close by.

Had lovely time food good plenty of choices entertainment not bad. Though quite expensive for our daughter to join us for tea manage to get sun bed mind usely out around 8.30. Good choice of drinks there is shaded places if you want to get out of the sun
