Globales Palmanova

I believe this hotel has some issues it needs to resolve before it should be given a 4 star rating e.g. We are a couple in our early 60s with various health issues and found that the hotels lift system is totally inadequate. There are only 2 lifts, which can allegedly carry 6 people at a time but we always struggled with 4 people and if any luggage was involved then only 2 people could use them. We were on the 5th floor and consistently had to walk down to the lower levels because the lifts were either fully occupied or weren't working. We walked up to the 5th floor once but that was enough so sometimes we had to wait for a vacant lift, which one time took a whole 10 minutes, which is totally unacceptable. The cost of hiring a safe is 42 euros with 10 euros returned to you when handing back the safe key. This is a ridiculous amount. I remember that no so long ago that room safes were free of charge so I don't know how they can justify this charge. I wouldn't mind paying a smaller fee of say 10 euros for the hire of the safe but 32 euros is scandalous. We were booked with a VIP status, which entitled us to access the VIP terrace with Bali beds and whirlpools amongst other things. This cost us an additional 210 euros for the week and we thought that towels would be included within this charge but they were not provided and we were told that it would cost us another 10 euros each for the hire of a towel, which would be refundable when returned. We can understand why there is a cost for the use of towels but surely not to those customers who are paying a premium for VIP status. The food was of a good standard but unfortunately it was fairly repetitive. Overall this was more like a 3 star experience to us.

We had a lovely break at this hotel. We upgraded to VIP and it was worth doing, the laid back area made relaxing so much easier. The only fault with the VIP area was the lack of toilets near at hand. The food was varied and well presented. The staff were helpful and looked after us well. Rooms spotless clean.

Hotel Palmanova is a great Spanish hotel but a French Club Coralia seems to have taken over ie Entertainment is for the French.They have different wrist band colour so they know who is not from France .Other nationalities are sometimes left out..Entertainment very poor.

Hotel is well located (as long as you don't mind a walk up an incline) close to the beach and far enough away from Magaluf to avoid the rowdiness. Bus stop just around the corner so well placed for being able to get out and about. Bus direct to Palma or Peguera . Was disappointed with the choice and quality of the food and drink available but this was the only slight down side

Nice hotel, room was on the small side for a family of 4. Could never get a lounger around the pool, just not enough loungers for the people staying. Wouldn’t go all inclusive not worth it, snack bar food isn’t great and no choice of ice creams for the children.

This is one of the best hotels I have stayed in, and I am very fussy where I go. All the staff were genuine friendly and couldn't do enough for you. The place was spotless, food was excellent, themed based - Mexican, Greek etc plus you got a cocktail on arrival to match the theme in the restaurant. This hotel has a calm atmosphere around the pool I managed to read a whole book, plenty of darts games, water polo to if wanted. Pool was a great nice with comfy loungers not the blue plastic ones! rooms are small tho that the only fault, across the road is the crazy golf and the beach is round the corner. This hotel is so good a i am going book again, which is a first for us.,

Good four star hotel. Rooms modern and clean. Food very good. Would return if back in palma nova. Hotel in good location for beach. Inclusive drinks were good. Evening entertainment was not so good. So we would go out most nights.
