Arena Dorada Apartments

Close to shops and bars. Short walk to the beach. Good location for people with walking difficulties as quite flat. We were given disabled room although not requested or needed but I was able to share with older friends who would like this

the hotel is in a great location friendly staff and very clean we stayed here in 2016 and the rooms have been re furbished since then walk in shower now which was excellent,we had service every day and they where very pleasant

Location very good and the apartment was spacious with everything you needed .maids came every day and reception was helpful. It was great for self catering with pool, bar and snack bar where you could have a meal Very well looked after property

Great location for the Arena Dorada Apts for the beach, main town and a walk to the old town. Great staff, very friendly and apartments were kept clean most days. Great pool area with a bar/restaurant area. Would certainly recommend.

spacious,clean apartment with a fantastic pool & sea view, the staff are very helpful & friendly, the location is perfect 2 min walk to the main strip (no hills), plenty of sun loungers round a very clean pool. we will definitely be booking again

Stayed for 1 week in these apartments unfortunately it was awful.. B11 overlooking the bins, the smell was terrible, the apartments were filthy and some of the furniture had never seen a duster (back to basic cleaning 101 for the cleaner). Our apartment seemed to be the only one not refurbished, old broken furniture. No view except for back of chinese restaurant. Pool area was nice except a lot of broken sunloungers and not enough sun shades. The biggest gripe i have about these apartments and although not there fault was the constant building work being carried out next door 8 hours a day of drilling, sawing, and a little digger going up and down. I wouldnt return to peurto del carmen as it was too hilly for my elderly mother but if i came with friends def but not to these apartments.

Arrived early evening, checked in quickly on arrival and given a room in the un-refurbished block B. Room in reasonable condition but dirty pots in the kitchen cupboard and no lock on the bathroom door. Hired fans via reception at 30 euros each for 14 days. Room was quiet with a limited pool view from the bedroom window, sunny balcony which had a view of the back of the shops on the main strip. Usual rush for sunbeds the following morning, but with only approx 40 beds (several of which were broken underneath) for 80 apartments, it was only to be expected. There were lots of large groups of friends/families where 1 person would save around 8 or 9 sunbeds for the rest of the group who would'nt surface till around lunch time or later. Pool was cleaned for around an hour each morning but area around pool was never hosed down, which left it sticky in places. Our 1st (and last) meal at the pool bar came with extras!!! a hair in my sandwich. Our Room was cleaned 5 times a week and beds changed once. THE RESORT The Apartments were perfectly placed for the main strip which was just a 2 minute walk away and there was a small supermarket just around the corner. Lots or Bars and Restaurants on the main strip with plenty of choice and meal or drinks offers. Taxi into the old town approx 4 euros. Hired a car for 3 days and saw some lovely parts of the island, but be warned, parking in carmen is a nightmare and can result in several circuits around the one way system trying to find a space, several streets away from your accommodation. Apart from the few niggles already mentioned, we had an enjoyable holiday and will certainly return, but to different accommodation

Good clean basic apartments, hotel reception were very helpful and pleasant, location was just 200 metres from main strip of shops and bars and beach. Very quiet on a night not noisy. The hotel bar was very reasonable with several happy hours and cocktail hours. Very good value for money.
