La Isla Y El Mar Hotel Boutique

We've just returned from staying at this fantastic hotel and would thoroughly recommend it to anyone else. From the moment we arrived we were treated like VIP's and nothing was an issue. Everywhere was clean,the gardens were kept lovely and all the staff should be proud of themselves for running such a nice establishment. If you want a nice relaxing place to stay with a very chilled out atmosphere then don't hesitate to book this. It made our Silver Wedding Anniversary an even more enjoyable experience and we couldn't fault anything.

This excellent suite hotel has very spacious accommodation and furnished with contemporary furniture .and private patios with coffee table and chairs plus 2 sun loungers . Friendly helpful staff who always smile and acknowledge guests. Breakfast good choice,just don't choose half board as it is abysmal .Buffet dinner gives the impression there is no kitchen or trained chefs available.

This was a gorgeous hotel, beautiful rooms fantastic food, I could not fault this holiday of 18 luxury nights the first time my husband and I have had a holiday without children, I loved this hotel so much we have booked again for July 18th 2018 for another 18 nights, I hope to have a hot tub this time as that would be the perfect holiday

This is a beautiful hotel. Staff are wonderful especially Cris. Breakfast excellent. All areas kept spotless. Rooms are stunning- shower design needs looked at to save floods and TVs are a bit temperamental. Hotel needs an inside bar that stays open past 11!! If the hills a problem- there's an easy zig zag route to the port. Little touches would easy elevate this to. 5*

Loved our stay here . Well thought out quality accommodation ,separate lounge . Decent hairdryer . Having patio with own sun beds a brilliant plus. Execellent buffet Breakfast and Dinner . Polite staff . Customer care good with problems listened to and sorted . Bar area lacked atmosphere on night . Small niggle with water and refreshment tray which was quickly sorted. But for a total chill out relax break it was brilliant .

Loved this hotel it was decorated beautifully. Pool area was great. Also loved the pool bar area . It is a bit out of the way at the top of a hill. This did not affect my enjoyment of my holiday in any way.

On top of the hill. A steep walk straight up from the old harbour. Out of the way from the tourist lines of trinket tat shops and Brit / Irish pubs. However within 100 yards you can walk straight through it if you choose. Mix it up a bit. Visit this lot simply for the novelty value and then by pass it as much as possible. Try to stick to the harbour for the only traditional chance of the real Spain.

I was unsure when booking if a boutique hotel was right for us - the good news it fitted our requirements perfectly. Its very different to the normal 4* hotels we stay in but the change was very enjoyable. As the hotel is new the staff and management are trying their best to put on a high quality of service and during our week they succeeded - well done

This boutique hotel exceeded our expectations. Spotlessly clean. Breakfast was endless!! And a chef was available in the breakfast restaurant to cook fresh pancakes, bacon, eggs and omelette! Javier, one of the staff at breakfast service is so lovely and all staff are attentive and friendly, from the cleaning staff to reception staff and bar staff. Paula at the pool bar is a wee doll!! Definitely grab a bar snack at lunch time. The freshly made chicken croquettes are amazing!!

Fabulous hotel in a lovely location. Beautiful views, friendly staff and really well maintained property. Room was amazing and we didn't even book one of the fancy suites. Peaceful as no kids or groups of young party goers. Would advise going down to the harbour or to the main strip for plenty of great restaurants and bars. Had a really relaxed chilled holiday and would definately recommend to others.

Smart hotel. Reception staff good, but, a bit cut throat. Also did not clean floors in room and eventually had to scrub the bathroom floor myself. Reception seemed interested in getting money from us more than extending excellent customer service skills. Had to pay for late check out when the room was still empty when we left. Also the room was not made up until 4pm each day and we left at 3pm. Just felt it would have been a good customer service exercise to let us shower in our own room. I would recommend though, breakfast excellent and waiting staff very helpful. Pool area great with lovely sun loungers. Chill out area excellent too. Just need to clean room floors and maybe allow reception staff to give some leeway to customers. Reception also tried to charge us for drinks that we did not order and made us feel we were trying to con the hotel. Not pleasant. Do go and stay though you will have a wonderful time.
