Spring Hotel Vulcano

The hotel on first impression, huge reception. Friendly staff who gave us a glass of bubbly on check in. Nice touch. Spacious clean room. Hotel was fully booked but you didn’t feel crowded at all. Always found a sun bed. Food was delicious and plenty of choice. On check out you can book a shower room in the spa if you have a late flight completely free of charge. Everything was great and wouldn’t hesitate to come again. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

This was our first holiday in 3 years.We have been to this hotel 4 times and have not been disappointed each time we go. On arrival we received an upgraded room for no extra cost which was nice.The hotel was busy but not full which meant we didn’t have a problem getting a sun lounger at the pool.Because of the upgrade we had our own loungers and outside shower which we used every day.The food was excellent with a great selection all good quality. Staff were pleasant and polite .All in all a great holiday.

Have stayed in this hotel many times before with no complaint at all. This time the hotel & facilities were as good as I remember, however, the quality of food in the restaurant was very disappointing, the choice of main roast dish mainly consisted of pork or fish, now, if you like pork or fish you are probably fine, I don't. In addition, the hot food on the buffet was at best lukewarm, some of the bacon at breakfast was either undercooked or like cardboard. Overall disappointed with the quality of the food otherwise this rating would have been a 5.

Disappointed with our room this time a side room in the hotel were we had a a room out of the hotel by the pool last time There seem ed to be a few changes to the hotel since our last stay no waiter/waitress staff at breakfast manias for tea & coffee Back Staircase up to third floor by lifts a little scruffy and you had to be careful using them We had a standard room which seemed basic for a 4 star hotel it was clean and bed was comfortable Overall the hotel is a lovely hotel but I feel there is something missing fir a 4 star hotel Food was very good but not always hot Breakfast excellent plenty of choice Evening meal was good plenty of choice but as I said not always hot soup cold on occasion Entertaiment in the evening was quite good some acts were excellent others not so good Day time activities average but great staff Would we stay at this hotel again yes but I'd make sure I got a better room next time This hotel is in a great location We had a pleasant experience with the staff at this hotel

Everything was good - accommodation - food - entertainment - facilities Staff in the hotel were helpful and the rep was also very helpful with the forms The swimming pools were well maintained and the sunbeams kept in good order

Lovely hotel with friendly and helpful staff. No problem with getting sunbeds. Breakfasts were excellent with plenty of choice. Dinner had plenty of choice and, if preferred, was freshly cooked. Most of the pre-cooked meals were only lukewarm. Wi-fi in our room was patchy.

Reception was very helpful and gave us a quiet room near the lift as my husband has walking difficulties. Room was maintained well every day. Location is excellent and all on flat. Easy access to promenade ,shops and public transport.

Been hear around five times now and we find this hotel very comfortable, nice rooms and pleasant staff. The hotels is in a great location close to all amenities. Only concern is the food, unseasoned and very very bland. So much so we would come back but would go bnb if Jet2 offered it

Very good hotel great food and drink. Lots of walks if you like very near the breeches. Great pool at the Hotel staff very friendly and helpful , Roof pool and sunbathing and snacks during the day . We opt for the poolside view with towels and robes slippers

A great hotel we have stayed many times before but it so much better now it has been refurbished Staff are first class Food is excelent The UP upgrade is worth having It gives you a great place on the roof to relax with loads of sun beds nice pool.

Since last staying in this hotel it has been refurbished. Very clean accommodation and staff extremely friendly and helpful. We actually got the glass of fizz on arrival and water in the room (sometimes advertised but not given!). Food excellent and bar staff work very hard. Had a dirty balcony on arrival and it was cleaned as soon as we mentioned it. Read some reviews before we went and can't believe people were complaining about the entertainment/rooms/food. Just could not find fault. Upgraded to UP! for 3 days at €32 each per day excellent value for money and staff were very passionate about this facility you could tell this by the way they showed you around. Would consider booking UP! again however price did rise to €35 per day after we booked it which was strange but may have been because they extended the opening hours. Usual issue of reserving sun beds and people going out all day then returning in afternoon. They didn't need to do this never once did we struggle to get a bed even at 2pm! Some people are just very selfish!! Bar prices cheaper than bars "downtown" at around €6.30 for a cocktail unless you go to the €1 a pint places but then the cocktails are not that great at these places.

Hotel has been refurbished since my last visit and has been completed to a high standard. Choice and quality of food in the restaurant was excellent. Staff are helpful and friendly. If you want to try a new sport there are a few to choose from organised by the entertainment team.

Brilliant hotel in best location for night life and seafront walks. Our room looked over to Harry s Bar . and all the evening entertainment . but The Vulcano Hotel must have goid sound proofing as we heard no noise in our bedrool ... all the food in the hotel is EXCELLENT .

I have been to this hotel 5 times now, we love it, it is for adults only. the rooms are all nice and fresh and very clean you can have your sheets changed any time you wish by placing the sheets changed card on your bed. The food is good with lots of choice, the porridge in the morning is the best I have ever had every one did seem to going for it. if you are vegan or veggie you will be happy here. I do think food is not quite has good like in the other times I have stayed here with the salads being the most noticeable having said that you will always find something to eat, but if you like just junk food do not come here. The entertainment manager called Marco is amazing at his job he does make everyone feel they are special to him by giving a great experience to all with the aqua gym being the best I have had for getting you fit and making it fun for all people with his funny take on numbers like his number seven by saying sevennnnnn. You can also do pool biking here this is great fun,I was at this hotel for 10 days and I can tell you I do feel fitter then when I came. I am now going to keep this fitness up. if you have kiddies do not come here their is nothing for them just a baby pool. I did find a good mix of older and younger people. Night entrainment on some night were very good with the Eagles being the best. The hotel is on one level so for older less mobile people it is great everything here is compact just like I like it.

Three or four years ago I gave a scathing report on this hotel.I sugested it was falling apart and the rooms were tired and in need of upgrade.Well what a tranformation.Two lovely pools and rooms are clean and modern.Bath has been removed and replaced with a large modern walkin shower.Excellent accomodation and still very good food.

What can I say? Fantastic hotel, staff very helpful especially Isabel going into the dining room. She always had a smile on her face meeting and greeting the guests. Food was absolutely brilliant, no complaints from my husband and I.Looking forward to our next holiday in the Volcano.x
