Hotel Mlini

Very impressed by the standard of our room. We looked out onto the harbour which was great in the evening for the sunset but very hot during the day. Breakfast had lots of choice. A 2 minute stroll to the pool and sister hotel. In the other direction a 10 minute walk brought you to restaurants and bars. Took the ferry from the harbour to Dubrovnik - a lovely 30 min journey.

Mlini is a small quiet really tranquil. The view from our room was straight over the bay. The room was lovely and clean, large bathroom with his and hers sinks, large bath with shower over. We stayed in room 310. Comfy beds and spotlessly clean. Buffet breakfast with a good selection. Only criticism would be that there was no entertainment in the evening which meant there was no one in the bar at night and no atmosphere. Lovely pizzeria opposite the hotel. Water taxi just two minutes walk from hotel where you can get to Cavtat and Dubrovnik. We were bed and breakfast, there are probably about 10 restaurants to choose from in both Mlini and sebrano which was about a 10 minute walk away along a pretty coastal path. We are in several restaurants and found the food to be very good quality and good value for money. There is also a small shopping centre I sebrano with a large drug store, supermarket and randomly a H&M! Definitely a place to go to get away from it all.

We were not disappointed about any aspect of this hotel and all our party had rooms on the second floor of the main block. All offered nice views and were very clean and comfortable.We had upgraded to half board and although choice was limited we all enjoyed our meals in a pleasant dining room served by very friendly staff especially Stephan. The surrounding area of Mlini is beautiful and lovely for a coastal walk as well with easy links via the sea taxis to Dubrovnik etc. Local buses were infrequent, crowded and not on time so taxi better if travelling on land. Just a great place to stay if you want to visit this area of Croatia.

Fabulous hotel very bright and modern.rooms great location right on the beach. Everything you need within walking distance.ferry to Dubrovnik and cavtat 2 minutes away.lovely breakfast plenty of choice.

This hotel was first rate and as we were celebrating our Anniversary we were greeted with champagne and a beautiful cake on arrival in our room. All the staff were very helpful,friendly and always made us feel like special guests. Hope we can return in the future.

We stayed for 14 nights and were very happy with our choice of hotel. The proximity to the beach and water taxis was excellen. The outdoor swimming pool at the Asterea was very busy whilst we were there but as it was August it was to be expected.

We have just got back from a week at Hotel Mlini. We had a superior twin room with a sea view and we could not fault the room or hotel; we were on the fourth floor with unspoilt views. Food was good with a choice of freshly made egg dishes at breakfast including egg florentine and omelettes in addition to a hot and cold buffet. Dinner was made to a high quality but the half board menu did not change all week but there was a good choice and starters were so large we sometimes chose two starters instead of a starter and main. There is a shuttle bus to Cavtat and Dubrovnik which you need to book in advance and the cost is 60 kuna each return. Both are worth visiting to walk the walls in Dubrovnik and swim off the rocks in Cavtat. You do need to take beach shoes as the beaches are stoney. Our room had a kettle with tea, coffee and powdered milk provided but you can ask for fresh milk at the bar and keep it in your mini bar fridge. I would highly recommend this Hotel.

Beautiful hotel in fantastic location. B&B would be the better option as dinner was not very exciting. Food from the buffet was cold and therefore pasta and risotto dishes were stodgy. Meat was tough and overcooked. OK if you just stuck to a salad. At breakfast leave some sort of personal belonging on your table to identify you are at the buffet, otherwise you will find your table cleared and ready for another guest. This happened three times to us. It was quickly reset though.

Lovely apartment, good food, book a holiday. We will definitely go back. The whole holiday was amazing, a fantastic place to go for honeymoon. Nothing was too difficult for the hotel staff, everyone was catered for.

A lovely waterfront hotel.Very comfortable, well appointed rooms which are serviced daily. Pleasant, helpful staff from reception to waitresses to cleaners. Eat inside or out from a varied menu with freshly cooked food.Don't expect chips!

My wife and I went to the Mllini apartments from may 15 to May 22 2016 - Check in was not given early we had to wait from 13.00 hours to 15.00 hours to get our key. However not a problem with that. The apartments were smal but very nice. The kitchen area was tiny with cooker microwave fridge all within a space of 3 feet by 10 feet. there was a table and chairs and a couch facing the TV ( only Sky news and BBC world service as English speaking channels) the USB slot did not work for our phones or tablet to receive you tube etc from the free WIFI. The view from the balcony is stunning. The maid service is daily. The bathroom is good but no bath. The bedroom is a bit roomier and to lie in bed and connect to the internet brings you back home. The walk to the Astarea Hotel complex is 2 minutes and they have a fitness romm ( you have to pay to use £5 for the indoor pool per hour) and an expensive bar. one bottle of beer and a glass of coke was £8. There is a Supermarket called Konsum a 20 minute walk away with genuine bargains which we topped up on. Wine £5 bottle beer £1 per tin bottled water 1.5 litres £1 - great fruit veg and all the the best a supermarket can give - there is an English type Beer garden restaurant beside it called the something garden but is really cheap - Chicken and chips for £3 a real bargain and lovely this is in Sbreno sorry wrong spelling. Dubrovnik town centre is really expensive compared to Mllini and Sebreno so do not go unless you really want too. Great holiday lovely place. Quiet but no stress or pressure. Amazing !!!
