Many of the beaches are pebbly, but Grebišće has silky smooth sands to bury your feet into. The narrow stretch has shallow waters for paddling and there’s a café nearby serving essential snacks and drinks. Head further down the coast to Uvala Dubovica and you’ll find a beautiful rocky patch, too.

Visit the 15th century Franciscan Monastery overlooking a shady cove and enjoy the Venetian artwork in the museum. Why not even take in the stunning views from the top of the fabulous fortress?
