Miramare Resort & Spa

Nice hotel with lovely staff. Shame about the quality and selection of food. Restaurant rules do not seem to apply. You could end up having your evening meal in a restaurant with people who looked like they had just stepped off the beach. Price to upgrade our all inclusive package so we could drink after 11pm was ridiculous.

Amazing views and staff went above and beyond, the facilities were plentiful and the description did not do it justice. Agios is a great place to visit with lots to do bu ti would advise hiring a car to get around.

Hotel staffs friendly. rooms basis but fine. Sure on a steep hill however the hotel provide gold buggy transport for elderly or less mobile guests.food excellent. Drinks less so. Wine aoft drinks and beer not up to much on an all inclusive menu. The hotel operate a empty glass policy which is fine but they do therefore control the speed at which you drink. In the restaurant the waiters will purposely avoid eye contact to restrict your drinking! In the bar they will only serve one table at a time and make you wait to be served and they discourage you going directly to the bar yourself! All of which doesn’t feel like like all inclusive experience! We shared a holiday with three other families all of whom paid vastly different prices which was very disappointing. All things considered we would return but would definitely look for a cheaper price!!

Where do i start ?? OMG ! What a fantastic time we had in this hotel . From the momentnt we arrived at 2.30 am, the welcome we got was outstanding ! Thank you Manolis . Every member of staff from reception, bars, restaurant, cleaners to buggy drivers were outstanding ! Special mention to Alex 💛 what a lovely man . We had the best time, food was delicious, named drinks on AI . We loved our stay so much ! Thank you everyone at Miramare Crete . All the Marias on reception, Anastasia , Natalia the two lovely barmen .We will def be back ! Two very happy Scottish girls xx

Beautiful location lovely hotel but some rooms are a little tired the pillows and bedding where very tired The views from al around the hotel are stunning, the food is excellent lovely dinning room and plenty of choice excellent breakfast and a . lovely team of staff We had a very relaxing holiday. the hotel has lots of steps to the pools and surrounding areas,. you need to be able bodied to climb to to pool their are buggies go to the top pool areas and spa if you need them from reception. We would return, and soon loved it.

Spent a lovely week here in May. Had a bedroom and living room with sofa bed and two bathrooms near the big pool, level 6, great size for three adults. Fantastic views. Half board, we ate in five nights, great choice and all really good. Plenty of choice at breakfast time too. Would imagine it is pretty busy in high season but we were there early May so it was relatively quiet. Good walking distance into Aghios and right next to a lovely cafe on a small shingle beach, perfect place for a swim. Only negative - we were given an ‘upgrade’ to a room with a private hot tub, which we were thrilled about - until we were told it would be €70 a day to fill and use it! Needless to say we didn’t bother - this was ‘upselling’, not upgrading in my opinion.

Loved this place, very clean, clean towels & room made up everyday, room a little tired but didn't spoil our holiday. Breakfast was good, loads different food to choose from, we did go half board but only ate in 1 evening as we like to go out & try the local food in Taverns. We used 2 pools but first one had loud music so we moved to next one & it was lovely. Staff were very helpful got a bad bite on my leg & the waiter was lovely getting me ice to take the swelling down,which it did. Would go again tomorrow.

Had a magic stay at this resort. Only negative is the rooms are small and basic but overall the location is lovely. We were all inclusive for 7 days and found the food to be of high standard. All the staff at this hotel were so lovely and friendly.Highly recommend.
