Heaps of history
This preserved village was once was the capital of Santorini and you can spy traces of its heritage among the steep medieval cobbled alleys. The biggest remnant of centuries past is Pyrgos Kasteli, the village’s hilltop Venetian castle. Amble up for crackin’ views over the island.
