Lovely Hotel great location very clean and tidy staff very friendly food was exceptional. Pools kept spotless. Entertainment not much for teenager / Adults but facilities made up for that. Would definitely stay again.

Arrived 19th May 2019. Hotel staff very friendly & helpful. Very clean hotel. Brilliant location right on the beach. Food was plentyful, i am a fussy eater but always found something i liked.Was my first visit to Salou and would definitely go back to this hotel. Couldn't find any negative points about either the hotel, staff, food or location. Brilliant holiday cant wait to return

Lovely hotel. Quick check in service. Amazing views from room. Food buffet service something for everyone. Very clean and Friendly staff. Only thing I could possibly complain about was temperature of pool..absolutely freezing!! . Otherwise fantastic hotel.

We recently stayed for a week at the best maritim in cambrils the hotel it's self was clean and tidy and the room was adequate with a pool/Sea view ..the food and service in this hotel was not to our standard 3 times my partner got uncooked food eggs were a perticupar problem still clear on top I'd say avoid them unless you want to be ill and one night we asked 5 times for a drink which we never received the food was the same almost every night it wasn't hot either ...we dined out some evenings as couldn't face the food in the hotel ... breakfast was the same every day apart from Friday which I was unable to attend as I had diarrhea and sickness my oarpart informed me they had proper sausages and pancakes ...we also visited the spa which was 8 euro each we we're told children were only allowed in untill five so we went back after five and they were still letting children in untill it closed at seven I would say the size of the spa is way too small for the size of the hotel and they take no notice to the no kids after five so don't expect a relaxing time ....and the sky lounge apparently you have to have a priority room for access to this or you can't use it unless you pay but that service is only available at high season for none priority rooms ...we went up one day and it was open and to be honest I wouldn't have paid for it the bar wasn't a bar it was a l shaped counter with fridges under something you could make in your back garden ...it had 2 jacuzzi's the view however was nice ...and also the no kids allowed wasn't adhere to...all in all I would say the hotel was good for the room and free safe ...but the food was awful wouldn't return to this hotel puerly for this fact...jet 2 however who we went with we're brilliant and the rep Emma was really good

Certainly worthy of it's name. This hotel has it all, excellent location, excellent food, beautiful rooms and amazing service. We were highly impressed with The Best Maritim and will definitely return soon. The pool is lovely with ample sun loungers and the entertainment was also very welcome.

Lovely hotel set right on the beach...Hotel very clean and we'll looked after ...food was good every meal time..quite a walk into Salou but we'll worth it.Only gripes are that there is not enough room around the pool...people saving subbed at silly o clock in.the morning and not using them all day...never used the pool because of this and rooms very small especially for 2 adults and a teenager ...Over all had a lovely holiday and hotel was good .

this was our second trip to this hotel, abeit 15 years apart, the hotel is maintained to a very high standard and the staff and facilities are excellentthe one downside was the food, the meals were quite repetative and usually tepid to cold, pointing this out to a senior staff member got no response. Long lines form at pinch points like freshly cooked eggs or meat resulting in tepid food becoming cold on reaching the table. The restaurant could do with more staff as tables are slow to be cleared for the guests waiting for a clean table and ordering drinks can only be done by one or two members of staff

The hotel is clean staff are friendly, not much in the area other than the odd restaurant, beach and hotel pool, the rooms are quite small with not much hanging space for clothes, if you require a bath with shower over its best to email the hotel in advance as most rooms have walk in shower, the main pool has disabled access, food was ok too

Great hotel went to this hotel a long time ago when it was self catering we loved th way it had been changed how ever the Hotel is greatly aimed at the Spanish secure the animation team work so hard but agin the animation is Imed at the Spanish

The location and cleanliness of this hotel are great however staff at reception are rude and very unhelpful. We had 2 rooms booked for our 10 night stay and we got flooded due to heavy rain but our belongings got damaged and we had to buy clothes to allow us to continue our holiday. When we spoke to reception staff about this they were not interested and did not even offer as much as an apology!! To say I was very upset by this is an understatement. The restaurant manager is the only member of staff I have seen smiling during our stay and he was so polite(well done Manuel) however the food on offer just wasn’t what I expected for a hotel of this size, food was cold and not very much choice unless you like pizza and chips which is fine occasionally but chips for breakfast..... really!!!

Best Maritim Hotel was wonderful, very clean food excellent everything we wanted. In fact we have booked to go back next year! We took our own travel kettle, cups and tea bags for an early mroning cuppa as there are no tea making facilities in the room.

I was at this hotel with my sister from 17-24 June 2017. Food was good, with plenty of choice but it would help if the plates were hot. Nothing worse than putting hot food on a cold plate, although the food wasn't particularly hot! Gradual steps with a handrail into the pool are essential, instead of the "step ladders" they had. The chair/hoist for the disabled/less abled was broken. It had been reported before we arrived but it was not repaired while we were there. As there was a number of wheelchair users and people using walking frames, this really should have been treated as a priority. Our air conditioning unit had obviously been leaking for a while as there was a large damp patch on the wall and water was dribbling down the wall onto the floor. We had to put towels down to mop it up. There was also black mould growing round the ac unit itself. We reported it to Reception the day we arrived but no repair was carried out until we reported water was dripping out of the light fitting! The room wasn't large but adequate although some drawers would have been useful instead of open shelving in the wardrobe which had gaps at the back so you had to check constantly for items that had fallen down! The walk in shower was excellent. My sister has slight mobility problems and so not having to climb into the bath to have a shower was a great help for her. Our curtain track fell off the ceiling on the second day. This was repaired the same day, but I noticed there was only a screw in every other hole and no rawl plugs had been used, so it wasn't very secure in its fitting. I have no doubt it would fall down again during the season. Staff were very polite and helpful. Everything was very clean. There were a lot of families at the hotel (mainly Spanish or eastern European). The kids mini disco didn't start until 9.15pm, with the adult entertainment not starting until sometimes as late as 10.30pm, which is perhaps a bit too late and trying to get the kids off the stage at the end was often impossible. There was plenty of activities during the day for both children and adults. The best attended was the aqua gym in the pool. The location of the hotel was excellent, with direct access onto the beach and a reasonable selection of shops, bars and cafes close by.
