HL Club Playa Blanca & Waterpark

Fantastic holiday. Staff very helpful and friendly. Resort clean . Pool great. Food had plenty of choice. Only problem was lack of sun beds for pool area. Resort had a sports bar that was never open .

A group of 9 of us travelled to the hotel in July and stayed in 2 bungalows. From tiles falling off around the pool to paper cups that leaked to entertainment crammed into a little corner of the bar this hotel was definitely failing in many respects. To be honest the constant running around of children in the restaurant with no supervision from parents was an embarrassment. Children loading their plates and leaving it to be thrown away must have been soul destroying for the staff who worked hard. The gardens had been laid our well but yet again unruly guests just destroyed the banana trees by taking off the fruit and throwing on the ground. I would not return and definitely not when the majority of guests were from the UK. Not forgetting if you didn't get down to the pool by 6 in the morning there were no beds left!

We had a great 5 days at the club playa Blanca, food was good, maybe not the most choice but everything was tasty & replenished regularly, drinks were fine & did the trick! Only small negatives from us were they closed the meal services dead on time, ie 9pm finish for dinner they started closing up & clearing away at 8.45pm at the latest and there was no courtesy room to use for a shower etc once you checked out of your room at 11am. We enjoyed our break & would return

Staff and food good ,pool freezing even though it’ was advised as heated bungalow’s very dated though they are doing them up at the moment give this hotel a miss for a year and it should be ok when all the works are finished don’t pay extra for the water park unless your kids are under ten as it’s no good for teens

Hotel was ok just basic food wasn’t the best & the rooms wasn’t the cleanest. Beds awful and uncomfortable. Room wasn’t cleaned or beds wasn’t made a couple of days. Ants in the wardrobe and travel cot

Went with my daughter son in law and grandchildren. Had a brilliant week. Clean and well looked after. Brilliant animation team. Good food. Would go again.children were entertained well and weather was lovely.

Just got back from a family holiday over new year and had a great time. The hotel is lovely and clean. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful. The animation team work really hard to include all the guests in the many activities.The food was very good and the staff made an extra effort on New Year’s Eve to make it special.Only downside was having to pay extra for WiFi (it is free in reception area but the signal is poor) and pool temperature. The smaller area was described as heated but it was only moderately warmer than the unheated side and you couldn’t stay in for too long.

Fantastic place to stay, food was amazing especially on New Years Eve, the entertainment was brilliant and the animation team are the best we have ever had on a holiday they made the holiday more enjoyable.
