Step things up a gear
The Sithonia Mountains make an incredible outdoor playground for active types. Hiking, biking and bird watching are all popular pastimes around here. The remote village of Parthenonas is well worth a trip uphill for its sweeping panoramas and little museum. Likewise, the rolling vineyards in Porto Carras make for a lovely afternoon out.
