Have stayed here several times and if you want self catering this accommodation is excellent great location 20yards from the beach clean friendly staff the only thing missing for some would be a swimming pool but there is a huge pool 20yards away it's called the Med

Everything was perfect, from the initial transfer to return landing. If you don't mind cold sea (well, I managed to swim three times anyway, despite the November weather - was even cheered by people on the promenade), then this is a holiday for you: long coastal walks, seafood cuisine (as well as any other if you fancy difference), and all kind of facilities around. Very beautiful place, and there is a choice of day excursions, including exotic Tangier (see their artisan items, this is quite unforgettable) or Seville (with Magellan's tomb and place of sailing departure on Guadalquivir). had to wait over three hours for our room, and we noticed that everyone that came seem to have to wait for there rooms. the staff on the reception desk, were slow and not very pleasant . the rooms were cleaned every day.

We stayed for a week from 25th June to 2nd July. We had a studio. Although the beds were in a funny position we managed perfectly well. It was clean and the staff were very friendly and helpful. I doesn't have a pool, but the beach is across the road. We had a great view as our room was on the front

Rooms are basic but clean and a good size. The kitchen area is small and only suitable for basic cooking but you can eat in the hotel and the local restaurants are good and not expensive. We had a room over looking the beach and it was lovely. There's entertainment on a night which is good and you can have a drink and a dance. Its well located for the centre of Fuengirola which is only 10 minutes walk away and is livelier. We prefer the bars and restaurants surrounding the hotel of which there are plenty. The beach is lovely as there's no pool. Two sunbeds and an umbrella costs 10 euros per day and you can reserve them at no cost. Overall a lovely apartment in a lovely location.

It was lovley there plenty of bars ect Beach across the road couldent b better Im on a crutch and everything is close by Huge balcony and fab view We found a street with loads of bars Off the main stretch Indian and tapas food fantastic

My wife and I were subjected to discrimination from day one when we were checked into one of the worst rooms on the second floor despite objections and were falsely told that nothing else was available. On arrival, we were also told our room was not ready and told to come back in about 40mins or so. Bearing in mind I had booked online approx 4 months in advance it was impossible for the room not to be ready. I am convinced that on seeing us, the decision was taken to put us on the first or second floor and out of the way of the other guests because we were of a minority group in appearance. It is impossible to get to sleep in these rooms between 10pm and about 1.00am because of the noise coming up from the nightly live entertainment which was directly below these rooms. We did not have a single nights proper sleep during our weeks stay.. The day after we arrived, i watched as other new arrivals were checked in. All were checked in immediately with no issues. I watched the lifts as the new arrivals went up to the allocated rooms. The lifts never stopped before the 5th floor. Yet, the day before at check in I was told the hotel was full and the only rooms available were on the first or second floor! Two days later I noticed someone else was in the room next door to us. I saw these people in the hallway, and yes! they to were from a minority group! The discrimination was clear and obvious. So obvious, it was almost laughable! Throughout the week we were there, it was also obvious that reception (2 in particular) did not wish to speak with us, and were always abrupt with their responses. In fact one of them, the one who told us the hotel was full, would put his head down as he saw us, pretending he had not seen us! Yes, it is very clear that discrimination is rife at the JABEGA in Fuengirola. It was obvious we were not welcome and they did not wish to see us there. If you were not of a minority group, no problems. You would be welcomed and given a choice of rooms. I will never again set foot in the JABEGA Fuengirola and if you are of minority background, be prepared for rejection if you decide to stay there. The lies about the hotel being full were blatant and the abrupt attitude of reception staff made it clear we were My wife and I experienced discrimination from day one. The hotel is in an excellent position right on the prom across from the beach, close to the shops and restaurants. It was clean but very dated the beds very comfy although very oddly laid out with far to much unnecessary furniture. Kitchen area very small but we managed. Good free Wi-fi. Building work noise was echoing throughout the hotel we were not informed by Jet2holidays that this would be happening. Cleaners came every day but did not give you chance to answer the door before coming in, the same with a work man that came to paint the balcony whilst we were in, it could have been very embarrassing caught in the shower/bath or bed getting dressed/changed etc. Outside patio furniture inside when we arrived which was okay because it did some raining but not a lot of room to manoeuvre especially with all the other furniture. Only one English channel on the TV. The reception staff were okay. We would book again because of its location.

La Jabega ,right on the sea front,spacious rooms,we got a sea view which made it better,Only 5 minutes to town centre,,shops right on doorsteps,bus stops roun corner ,what more can I say,,,,,Towels changed Daily,,bedding every other day.

In a prim spot face in the beach near to bars and restaurants . The hotel was clean but very dated rooms also very dated . Bar in the hotel was ok and entertainment was all like the hotel dated. Two older bar staff at night was rude Saying that not that we won’t return. Lot of pub and bars so you can go out

arrived at the jabega with an open mind and was more than happy with the amenities here,we found to be more than adequate with very comfortable beds and a lovely sea view. the bar had entertainment on every night[though one of the singers was on four night] bar staff were very friendly and were generous with the measures add to this avery nice snack/ breakfast terrace on the seafront , we were more than happy and hope to return next year
