Aparthotel SunClub Salou

when we arrived at the hotel, we arrived around 9.45 at night and was bit shocked that kids entertainment was still going on and was so loud, but it didnt bother me as we to have kids that are now older and we've been there. the hotel is very noisey, if kids wasnt running up and down corridors, they were noisey in the rooms, there also a hotel next door with spanish kids in and they constantly shouting over to kids in our hotel, this going on at 1-2 in the morning. the bar bit in the hotel wasnt the best, this being due to communication, dont know how many times they got our order wrong. there a nice pool outside the restaurant, not the biggest of pools, and there definitely not enough parasols to go round, more than enough sunbeds but everyone rushes to get a parasol. The hotel isnt near Salou town centre, have to get a bus to the centre, pretty cheap, but the buses are always packed out. even if you are front of the queue, some spanish lady will always push in to get on first, very rude. Salou beach is quite busy, bit too much for me, but thats just me. some nice restaurants down there but got on my nerves having to get on the bus all the time and being all squashed in. We eventually found a restaurant near hotel called Route 66, this was a fab place and very good service and food was lovely. Would i go to Salou again? probably not as its just not for me

Not suitable for us holiday makers that find steps hard but lovely and clean pleasant staff would not go again much better for younger families and unfortunately I didn't like puerto-rico too hilly witnessed grown men fighting in the center whilst having lunch paths too slippy

I very rarely revisit a hotel, but just keep coming back to this one. I always go self cater and like the quiet location, friendly staff. The seem to be in the process of renewing decor, but I was always happy with the old one, but nice to know they are investing.

We visited the sunclub at the end may. Its nice clean hotel. Staff all lovely and friendly. Eat in it everyday. Food good. Good take away service too. Super market really handy. We where on lower ground. Bit noisy with kids running up and down this didn't bother us. Entertainment ok, but not for every night. Good family hotel.

Very helpful recception staff, apartment cleaned 6 days a week, fresh towels, slightly hilly position if you have a walking problem, excellent bus service, get the planta bus pass, 10 trips within there area for €1,20 per trip.

Had a great time. Travelled solo but had a huge one bedroom apartment. Everything I needed to cook was provided including a great little pack with washing up stuff. Only downside was I didn't have any view from 2nd floor room. Room was immaculate with huge balcony and a walk in shower.

Sunclub hotel went for seven nights with 2 grandchildren the pool was freezing cold at this time of year not a lot to do the only entertainment at night until our final night was one game of bingo and a quiz, not quite the thing for a 15 and 14 year old. There was no where for them to go out if the hotel in their own so we had to travel to Salou each night and still a lot of the places were closed. Will definately research the next holiday more at this time of year not the best hotel and are if you have children

Stayed here for 2 weeks this october appartments were very clean and the cleaners were great. I found the drinks to be quite expensive in the hotel bar compared to other hotels. The pool is a nice size however very cold. On my booking i had requested a low floor and i was actually on he 5th floor, the balconys are a great size. I would deffinatly stay there again if o was to return to salou.

My mum is undergoing cancer treatment and we thought we would get her out to the sun for a few days. Imagine our horror on entering this property. What a dive and it wasn't so cheap either, just to rub salt in the wounds. The bedding didn't look clean and we all suffered from itching and small bites - all convinced they were bed bugs as we took precautions against mozzies. Dreadful place. Avoid it.

Went for a week with our family and one year old grandson, loved it, quite town with a few bars and restaurants but only 10 euro for a taxi into salou. The staff were great and something going on every night along with bingo, couldnt wish for more. We also upgraded our drinks for 15 euro a day which saved us a fortune
