Vegueta district

This is the founding neighbourhood of the city of Las Palmas, where in 1478 the troops of Juan Rejón moved in and began the conquest of the Canaries. It’s home to pretty old streets and elegant historic buildings such as the town hall and Bishop’s Palace, as well as the Museo Canario. It’s also a top spot for food and drink.
