Dom Luís I Bridge

Dom Luís I Bridge

This dazzling double-decker metal bridge spans across the Duoro River. It was completed back in 1886 and at the time, it was the longest iron arch bridge in the world. Both levels are accessible to pedestrians, and the best way to experience it is to walk on one level on the way across, and the other level on the way back. The river views are simply stunning.
