Make like the locals
Whether you peep inside the wonderfully ornate church, follow the footpaths into the nearby olive groves or just chat with the locals, there’s more than meets the eye in this characterful suburb of Sorrento. Huddle around the popular piazza and sniff out the tastiest eateries for ribbons of pasta and chunky gnocchi.
Head up into the hills in search of the most incredible native ingredients – the local drop of wine is certainly a must-sip. Terracotta-topped buildings and dainty sage-green-blushed trees cover these high-up hotspots, so make sure you really take a wander. But if you head to the beach, plenty of water sports are available.
