Eixample

Once you’ve explored ‘old’ Barcelona, head for Eixample. It’s a huge area, so you’re better off planning where you want to go, but there are some great places to eat, drink and party the night away. It’s also home to the city’s more avant-garde buildings, like La Pedrera and Gaudi’s unfinished La Sagrada Familia.
