Flying before midday and already checked-in online? Great news! You can use our terrific Twilight Check-in service! Your morning flight is about to get a whole lot easier...

With our free Twilight Check-in service, you can drop your bags off at your UK departure airport between 16:30-21:00 the evening before your morning flight.

Thanks to Twilight Check-in, when you arrive at departures the next day, your luggage is already sorted. If you live near the airport or are staying at a hotel close by, it'll make your morning a little bit easier.

If you’re travelling over the festive period, please note that Twilight Check-in is not available from any of our UK airports for flights departing on 25 and 26 December 2024.

Sound good? Remember, to use Twilight Check-in, you must check in online any time from 28 days and no later than 24 hours before your flight, via our website or app.


We offer Twilight Check-in seven days a week if you’ve checked-in online and you're booked on a flight departing before midday from the following UK airports:

Do I need to bring my pram to check in with my baggage when using Twilight Check-in?

No, you don’t need to check this in – keep hold of your pram until you board.

How do I book Twilight Check-in?

You don’t need to book this service, but you do need to check in online no later than 24 hours before your flight. If your flight departs before midday and you’ve checked in online, then you can check your bags in the night before between 16:30-21:00.

How much does your Twilight Check-in service cost?

Nothing – it’s completely free.

What terminal do I go to for Twilight Check-in and is there a dedicated desk?

You’ll just go to the terminal on your boarding pass. There’s no special desk you have to find either, it’s just at our usual Jet2.com check-in desks.

I know I need to check in online before I can use your Twilight Check-in service, but your website and app won’t let me – what can I do?

To use Twilight Check-in, you’ll need to check in online any time from 28 days and no later than 24 hours before your flight, via our website or app. If you’re unable to check in online during this timeframe, it means our online check-in allocation has been reached. In this case, you won’t be able to use Twilight Check-in and you’ll have to go to our check-in desks at the airport on the day of your flight instead. The best way to make sure this doesn’t happen is to check in as soon as possible after online check-in opens.

There are six people travelling in my group, can I really do Twilight Check-in and drop off bags for them all?

Yes! It only takes one person from a party to check in and drop off bags for up to six people. Just remember, that person will need to take along passports, boarding passes and any essential travel documents for each member of the party when they go to use Twilight Check-in.

What if my group has more than six people?

If you have up to nine people in your booking, two people will need to go to the airport to check in the bags. For groups of ten or more, customers will individually need to check in their own bags.

Is there a limit on the number of people that can use the service?

No – as long as your airport offers the service (it’s available at all our UK airports except Belfast Int’l), your flight departs before midday and you’ve checked in online, you’re good to go!

I haven't checked in online yet, so can I just turn up at the airport the night before and use Twilight Check-in?

No, you need to have checked in online no later than 24 hours before your flight before you can use Twilight Check-in.

Can I use Twilight Check-in for sporting equipment?

Yes – sporting equipment such as golf clubs or skiing equipment can be checked in using Twilight Check-in. Please note that this equipment should be pre-booked either when you book your flight online or via our Call Centre.
