Text
Understandably, the white-hued buildings dotted around this coastal gem have guaranteed Lindos as the prettiest village of the island. It’s bright, blue and bustling – not to mention its balmy summer temperature! The Acropolis is a must-see, and you can’t miss the chance to go on a donkey ride...

Superb scenery

Whitewashed houses are huddled around a hill on a scenic little headland, with an ancient Acropolis the crowning glory of the village. Explore the temples and terraces, and if you don't fancy climbing all the steps up the hillside.

Bronzed beaches

For relaxing by the sea, Lindos has shingle beaches with sun loungers and parasols. The water is oh so warm and inviting, while water sports are available and you can snorkel around the rocks. On the far side of the Acropolis, St Paul's Bay is a natural seawater swimming pool, completely enclosed by rocks.

Neon nightlife

When the sun goes down in Lindos, there are plenty of cheery bars and tavernas with live music and traditional Greek nights. Late-night clubs keep their doors open for those who fancy a dance, but this isn’t the prime place for party animals, and the volume strictly goes down at 11pm.
