Özdere is a coastal resort town located in the Menderes district of İzmir Province, Turkey. It's known for its beautiful sandy beaches, clear Aegean waters, and a more relaxed, family-friendly atmosphere compared to some of its larger neighbours.
The best time to visit Özdere is during the spring (April to June) and early autumn (September to October). During these months, the weather is pleasantly warm, ideal for beach activities and sightseeing without the summer crowds.
Özdere is a family-friendly destination with its sandy beaches, shallow waters, and various activities suitable for children. Many hotels also offer family-oriented amenities and programs.
Think quiet and laidback. Özdere is not a party town. It's primarily a destination for relaxing beach holidays, popular with both Turkish and European families. The atmosphere is centred around its large all-inclusive resorts and the simple pleasures of the sun, sea, and sand.
If you are staying at an all-inclusive resort, you will have access to large international buffets. Outside of the hotels, you'll find classic Aegean Turkish cuisine. Expect lots of fresh seafood (fish, calamari), mezes (appetizers made with olive oil, vegetables, and yogurt), grilled meats, and fresh salads. Be sure to try a local restaurant in the town centre for an authentic taste.
We don’t have any villas in this resort right now. But we’ve hundreds available in other destinations, so find your perfect one now.
