A bucket list of sights

You’re well placed for some pretty big hitters in the sights department. In town, there are old walls wrapping up a taste of traditional Turkey by mixing street-food stalls with bustling bazaars. And just under half an hour away, you’ll find the famous ruins of Ephesus showing off classical columns and towering temples. The snow-white hot springs of Pamukkale aren’t far either.

Water, water, everywhere

For starters, this bustling resort has a whopping eight beaches. Fancy a place to kick back in peace? Plonk your towel on quiet Kustur for a seaside snooze. If water sports are more your thing, you can up the tempo and catch the surf on Long Beach. Best of all, there’s not one, not two, but three waterparks on your doorstep too!

A night on the tiles

Kusadasi has night owls flocking thanks to its range of bars and clubs, not to mention a bunch of beach clubs to get the party started. And you can find sounds of all sorts, from Turkish dance music to European techno and R&B. The two streets to check out are Barlar Sokagi and Asagi Barlar Sokagi, where Irish bars meet Turkish-inspired tavernas.
