Looking for a more responsible way to stay? A stay where your hotel helps to shape local economies, communities and environments, creates jobs and amazing memories? Our Certified Sustainable Hotels collection gives you the option to choose accommodation that meets an official global standard for sustainability as part of your package with us. These hotels have been assessed by an independent organisation against strict criteria to become certified as sustainable, including things like reducing energy, water and waste to using local and reusable products. And they come in all shapes and sizes across a wide range of our destinations, so there's something for everyone. Plus, we're working with our hotel partners to help more of them become certified as sustainable, so our collection can grow bigger and better.

What exactly do we mean by 'sustainable'?
A hotel that’s part of this collection has been assessed by an independent organisation that’s on ABTA’s (The Travel Association) list of accommodation sustainability certification bodies*. Their standards cover several things these hotels do, such as management, impact on local communities, supporting local heritage and actions to reduce environmental effects. How are we helping our hotel partners?
We're teaming up with Green Key, an independent organisation that certifies hotels as being sustainable when they’ve been assessed by an independent organisation that’s on ABTA’s (The Travel Association) list of accommodation sustainability certification bodies*.
