Fort Manoel

Fort Manoel

Built on the site of a former quarantine hospital, Fort Manoel’s first stone was laid in 1723. The fort suffered many direct hits during the Second World War and was later damaged by vandalism and neglect. However, it has now been fully restored and is an unmissable attraction for history lovers.
