Sliema Point Battery

Sliema Point Battery

Sliema Fort Battery, also known as Fort Sliema, is a British-built artillery battery located on the seaside promenade. In 1905 the fort became a searchlight position to expose enemy ships, and is now open to the public as a restaurant. Il-Fortizza is a great restaurant with a very interesting history.
