Perched atop a rocky mountain above the town of Alaro, this ruined castle has stood since Moorish times. There are spectacular views of the Tramuntana mountains from the top. It's a good two-hour hike to get there, but if you do walk, you can refuel at the superb Es Verger restaurant.
