San Fernando Castle

San Fernando Castle

One of two castles in Alicante, San Fernando was built to keep Napoleon at bay. And while that didn’t work and the castle was abandoned, it is still worth a look today – it has an ornate doorway and the walls are well preserved. It’s a popular site with skaters and joggers, and there’s mini golf and a café, too.
