Barcelona’s Olympic Stadium was built in 1929 and was officially inaugurated with a rugby match between Spain and Italy. From that moment on, there’s been a whole host of sports and events to give it a universal profile. It’s also since been used for corporate events and even music concerts, hosting artists such as Madonna and the Rolling Stones.
